Abstract
The growth in the number of students and staff at the Faculty of Engineering, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) is often accompanied increase in the number of vehicles on campus, this make pressure on parking facilities and increases air pollution in campus area which has an impact on the quality of the environment. This research aims to overcome the problem of parking shortages and promote environmentally friendly transportation in the campus environment. The methodology used includes analysis of parking needs, evaluation of current conditions, and development of parking lot designs that minimize environmental impacts. The proposed design includes reducing parking areas by 30% to increase green open space. Implementation of this design is expected to improve the quality of the campus environment, reduce carbon emissions, and encourage sustainable transportation behavior among students and staff. This research aims to find out parking lots that can change function into green open spaces and find out projections of parking lots that meet the standards for the green transportation concept. The results of this research are reducing the parking area in the parking area in the front yard of the BR building, this area is a strategic area to be made into green open space so that students can use these facilities easily, safely and comfortably.

Additional Information: | intisari Pertumbuhan jumlah mahasiswa dan staf Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta) seringkali diiringi dengan peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor di kampus, hal ini menciptakan tekanan pada fasilitas parkir dan bertambahnya polusi udara pada area kampus yang berdampak dengan kulitas lingkungan secara kesuluruhan. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengatasi masalah kekurangan lahan parkir dan mempromosikan transportasi ramah lingkungan di lingkungan kampus. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan parkir, evaluasi kondisi saat ini, dan pengembangan desain lahan parkir yang meminimalkan dampak lingkungan. Desain yang diusulkan mencakup pengurangan lahan parkir sebesar 30% untuk meningkatkan ruang terbuka hijau (RTH). Implementasi desain ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan kampus, mengurangi emisi karbon, dan mendorong perilaku transportasi berkelanjutan di kalangan mahasiswa dan staf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui lahan parkir yang dapat berubah fungsi menjadi lahan terbuka hijau dan mengetahui Desain lahan parkir yang memenuhi standarisasi untuk konsep green transportation, hasil penelitian ini pengurangan area lahan parkir dilakukan pada area parkir halaman depan gedung BR, area tersebut merupakan area strategis untuk di jadikan lahan terbuka hijau sehingga mahasiswa dapat menggunakan fasilitas tersebut dengan mudah, aman, dan nyaman. | |||||||||
