Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the development of a communication network of interrelated objects that are connected through internet communication and can exchange data, turning it into information. The research system is designed using the Wemos D1 R1 module which will be paired with PZEM-004T, DHT11 sensors and relays. Wemos D1 R1 ESP2866 serves for sending data to the database. The PZEM-004T sensor is used to read the voltage and electric current flowing so that a power value can be obtained. Relays are used as controls to disconnect electricity. DHT11 serves to detect room temperature and humidity. To find out the electrical power, the power data will be sent to the realtime Database of the Blynk Website which will be accessed via the internet so that this monitoring system can be done remotely. The test result of smart home systems show that they can monitor power and control, cut off electrical connections, and detect temperature and humidity in realtime based on the Internet of Things.

Additional Information: Internet of Things (IoT) suatu pengembangan komunikasi jaringan jarak jauh yang saling terkait dan terhubung melalui internet sehingga dapat bertukar data untuk mengubah menjadi sistem informasi. Pada sistem penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan modul Wemos D1 R1 yang dipasangkan dengan sensor PZEM-004T, DHT11 dan relay. Wemos D1 R1 ESP2866 berfungsi untuk pengiriman data ke database. Sensor PZEM-004T digunakan untuk membaca tegangan dan arus listrik yang mengalir sehingga bisa didapatkan nilai daya. Relay digunakan sebagai kendali untuk memutus sambungan listrik. DHT11 berfungsi mendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban ruangan. Cara mengetahui daya listrik tersebut data daya listrik dikirimkan ke realtime Database Website Blynk yang diakses melalui internet sehingga sistem monitoring ini dapat dilakukan secara jarak jauh. Hasil pengujian sistem smart home menunjukan dapat memantau daya dan mengendalikan memutus arus sambungan listrik serta mendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban secara real-time berbasis Internet of Things.
