Abstract
This study was conducted based on the responses of students to the study of mathematics. Mathematics is a basic science that became the foundation for the various science major influence in the development of the quality of a country. Competition services market will be very strict in education and began to be seen by many educators from abroad in the public schools, even with the establishment of the school of international standards is indirectly opened the door of competition educators abroad and in the country, thus demanding the performance of educators in the country to be more competent and innovative. After looking at various aspects of potential and impending problems, the question arises within the scope of instructional media innovation. Do the teachers are ready to use the new media? How is the response of the students receiving learning new media? And how media innovation in the form of audiovisual learning needs? Thus the aim of this study as an innovative audio-visual learning media. This study is a research development. This research aims to develop a product in the form of animated films mathematics learning and knowing students' response to instructional media. The instrument used questionnaire validity test products (test expert) and the students' questionnaire responses. From this study we can conclude the development of animated films through five stages, namely the concept of research, study design, collection of materials, manufacture, test consisting of test validity (expert testing) and field testing.
