Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh temuan lapangan pada masa pasca kebencanaan tsunami Selat Sunda 2018 tepatnya pada fase recovery, kondisi masyarakat yang terdampak bencana masih butuh pendampingan namun bantuan baik dari pemerintah maupun stakeholder lainnya sudah terhenti karena sebagian besar bantuan datang pada fase tanggap darurat, rekonstruksi dan rehabilitasi. Pada fase inilah, Lembaga amil zakat harapan dhuafa (Laz Harfa) mengisi peran untuk memberi bantuan dan pemberdayaan kepada para korban. Selain itu, besarnya jumlah korban jiwa dan dampak kebencanaan yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya edukasi terkait kesiapsiagaan dan mitigasi bencana. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh Laz Harfa dengan menggunakan teori pemberdayaan oleh Moh. Ali Aziz (2005), teori civil society oleh Alexis ‘De Tocqueville (1937) serta teori peranan oleh Maurice Duverger (2015). Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini akan memaparkan terkait kondisi pasca kebencanaan pada tsunami Selat Sunda 2018, peran pemerintah dalam melakukan penanggulangan bencana hingga program-program bantuan dan pemberdayaan oleh Laz Harfa. Program bantuan dan pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh Laz Harfa meliputi 5 program yang berorientasi dalam berbagai bidang yaitu bidang ekonomi, teknologi, edukasi, advokasi, kesehatan dan lain sebagainya. Daerah yang menjadi sasaran program ini yaitu kecamatan Panimbang, Kecamatan Sumur dan Kecamatan Labuan. Hingga saat ini terdapat beberapa program yang masih berjalan, salah satu diantaranya yaitu di bidang ekonomi.

The results of this study will describe the post-disaster conditions in the 2018 Sunda Strait tsunami, the government's role in disaster management to Laz Harfa's aid and empowerment programs. The assistance and empowerment program carried out by Laz Harfa includes 5 programs that are oriented in various fields, namely the fields of economy, technology, education, advocacy, health and so on. The target areas of this program are Panimbang sub-district, Sumur sub-district and Labuan sub-district.
