Abstract

Moral values is a child focused approach to encourage children to make moral judgments in making decisions related to moral issues, from a lower level toward a higher level based on positive thingking. Story telling is on of the gifts of leraning experiences for children by bringing the story to child verbaly. Children learning to read the beginning of the media takes an interesting one of them is the method story telling. Based on the results of research in early childhood pre Kirana Attack Beautiful, low child's reading skills beginning with the value of 30%. The method in this study is the method of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycles, on the first cycle consisting of 8 times the action and cycle II concisting of 2 the action success criteria 75%. Subject penelian amounted to 8 children. The technique of collecting data through observation, field notes, interview and documentation. Analysis data using reduction data, display data and conclusion. Validation data is done by way of extension of the observations, the increase in persistence research, triangulation, peer checking, member checking, negative case analysis, and referential adequacy. The results of this research note that 1) At the initial assessment of a child's ability to read the beginning of the 30 %, 2) After the child is given the action on the first cycle, the ability of the child began to increase to 51%. 3) Cycle II obtained a yield of 87%. It can be concluded that story telling the method Make-up of Values Age Child of 4-5 year olds beginning in early childhood Bani Isya pulomerak cilegon.
