Abstract
It is based on research by the presence of the findings in the process of learning social class in the class III SDN Bojong that in their experiences tended to be centered on teacher or teacher centered in their experiences so that less attractive interest students attention. This resulted in the learning became less meaningful for students. The existence of these conditions have an impact on the activity and learning outcomes of students who low. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes social class by using a model of learning active learning type on hollywood squares grade students III SDN Bojong. Research was carried out on the material history of money. When the study was conducted in April to May , and the subject of this study is the third grade students consisting of 34 students. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This study was conducted as two cycles, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showedan increase in activityandstudent learning outcomes ineachcycle. In cycle1, the activity of student sreached 67% at the first meetingand 78% atthe second meeting. In cycle2, the activity of students increased to 92% atthe first meeting and 100% at the second meeting. This is in accordancewithpre-definedindicators of successthat is>90%. Improving student learning outcomesthat have met thecriteria for completeness Minimal, in cycle1increased to79% and in cycle 2 increased to 88%, thiswasin accordance with the indicators of successthat is>80%. Based on the results of research shows that in their model active cycle of learning that could improve the learning of the learned hollywood squares in the third grade student of sdn for bojong. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya temuan-temuan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN Bojong yang dalam pembelajarannya cenderung bersifat berpusat pada guru atau teacher centered sehingga dalam pembelajaran kurang menarik perhatian minat siswa. Hal ini mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi kurang bermakna bagi siswa. Adanya kondisi-kondisi tersebut berdampak pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Hollywood Squares pada siswa kelas III SDN Bojong. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada materi sejarah uang. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Mei dan subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang terdiri dari 34 siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus 1, aktivitas siswa mencapai 67% pada pertemuan I dan 78% pada pertemuan II. Pada siklus 2, aktivitas siswa meningkat mencapai 92% pada pertemuan I dan 100% pada pertemuan II. Hal ini telah sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu >90%. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang telah memenuhi standar KKM, pada siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 79% dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 88%, hal ini telah sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yaitu >80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam setiap siklus menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Active Learning tipe Hollywood Squares dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas III SDN Bojong.
