Abstract
The main problems of this research are low students’ activity and low students’ study result at fourth grade of SDN Pegadingan 1 on production, communication and transportation technology development main study. To solve this problem, the researcher uses the picture media at teaching learning process. This research is purposed to increase the students’ activity and students’ study result using picture media on production, communication and transportation technology development main study at fourth grade of SDN Pegadingan 1. This research is held at fourth grade of SDN Pegadingan 1 with 27 students as samples. This research uses classroom action research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, held on April and there are 2 cycles which every cycle have 2 meetings. The phases of this research are planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Then the data collection technique uses the study result test, interview and observation. Based on research result, it showed that at pre-cycle, the students’ study result based on middle semester test averaged to 66,18 and percentage of study completeness is 44,44%. Then in the first cycle obtained learning outcomes of students achieving an average value of 76.66 and the percentage of classes mastery learning 81.49% or as many as 22 students from 27 students who completed says study results. In the second cycle results obtained by the students has been very good and has increased the average value class achieve mastery learning 78.14 with the percentage reached 100% or it can be said that all the students have been declared complete study results. And thus it can be concluded that PTK using media images can improve the learning outcomes of students. Then to the results of the first cycle of learning activities in the first meeting and the second meeting 66.7% to 75%. In the second cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting 91.7% of 100%. | Additional Information: | Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN Pegadingan 1 pada pokok bahasan perkembangan teknologi produksi, komunikasi dan transportasi. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan media gambar dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan media gambar pada pokok bahasan perkembangan teknologi produksi, komunikasi dan transportasi di kelas IV SDN Pegadingan 1. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SDN Pegadingan 1 dengan jumlah 27 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April, sebanyak 2 siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar, wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, menunjukkan bahwa pada prasiklus hasil belajar peserta didik dilihat dari hasil ujian tengah semester dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 66,18 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar 44,44%. Kemudian pada siklus I diperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai nilai rata-rata kelas 76,66 dan persentase ketuntasan belajarnya 81,49% atau sebanyak 22 siswa dari 27 siswa yang dikatakan tuntas hasil belajarnya. Pada siklus II hasil yang diperoleh siswa sudah sangat baik dan mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata kelasnya mencapai 78,14 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajarnya mencapai 100% atau dapat dikatakan bahwa seluruh siswa sudah dinyatakan tuntas hasil belajarnya. Maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa PTK dengan menggunakan media gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kemudian untuk hasil aktivitas belajar di siklus I pertemuan pertama yaitu 66,7% dan pertemuan kedua 75%. Di siklus II pertemuan pertama 91,7% dan pertemuan kedua 100%. Maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa PTK dengan menggunakan media gambar juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik Kata kunci: Media, Gambar, Hasil Belajar, dan Aktivitas Belajar | |||||||||
