Abstract

ii PENANAMAN NILAI KARAKTER RELIGIUS DI SD ISLAM AL-IZZAH KOTA SERANG Oleh Rizka Putri Dwi Novia 2227150018 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai karakter religius di SD Islam AL-Izzah Kota Serang, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian guru dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2018 – Februari 2019. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan fokus penelitian (1) Penanaman nilai karakter religius melalui pengembangan diri yang terdiri atas kegiatan-kegiatan rutin yang ada di sekolah, kegiatan spontan yang dilakukan guru pada peserta didik, keteladanan yang diberikan guru, dan pengkondisian sekolah yang diciptakan sedemikian rupa. (2) Penanaman nilai karakter religius melalui mata pelajaran dengan cara menyisipkannya dalam materi pelajaran atau pesan-pesan moral. (3) Penanaman nilai karakter religius dalam budaya sekolah yang terdiri atas budaya yang ada di kelas, sekolah, dan luar sekolah. Persepsi guru tentang pentingnya nilai religius dalam pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu sumber yang melandasi pendidikan karakter dan sangat penting untuk ditanamkan kepada peserta didik sejak dini karena dengan bekal keagamaan yang yang kuat sejak dini akan memperkokoh pondasi moral peserta didik di masa depan. Peran sekolah dalam mendukung pelaksanaan nilai karakter religius dalam pendidikan karakter yaitu menyediakan fasilitas-fasilitas yang dibutuhkan, mendukung adanya kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di luar sekolah, serta memberikan teladan yang baik bagi peserta didik.

Additional Information: This research aims to describe the planting of religious character values in the AL- Izzah Islamic Elementary School in Serang City, with qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects of teachers and students. The research was conducted in September 2018 - February 2019. Data was collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques with a focus on research (1) Planting the value of religious character through self-development which consisted of routine activities in the school, spontaneous activities carried out teacher to students, exemplary given by the teacher, and school conditioning created in such a way. (2) Planting the value of religious characters through subjects by inserting them in subject matter or moral messages. (3) Cultivating the value of religious character in the school culture which consists of culture in the classroom, school, and outside the school. The teacher's perception of the importance of religious values in character education is one of the sources that underlies character education and is very important to be instilled in students since early because with the provision of a strong religion early on will strengthen the moral foundation of students in the future. The role of the school in supporting the implementation of the value of religious character in character education is to provide needed facilities, support the activities that exist outside of school, and provide a good example for students.
