Abstract
This study aims to obtain clear, in-depth and comprehensive information about: 1) the structure of the novel I am the Terrorist Wife of Abidah El Khalieqy: 2) the role of female characters in the novel I am the Terrorist wife of Abidah El Khalieqy: 3) the gender equality of female characters The novel I am Abidah El Khalieqy's terrorist wife: 4) the implementation of the novel I am the Terrorist Wife of Abidah El Khalieqi as a learning material of Indonesian language and literature in high school. The subject of this research is the novel I am the Terrorist Wife of Abidah El Khalieqy, while the methodology of this research is using qualitative research method with descriptive analysis approach. The study yielded 124 citation findings, consisting of 1) analysis of intrinsic elements of 44 quotations with details, themes of 3 quotes, 24 characterizations, 16 citation settings, and 1 quotation; 2) the role of female figures as much as 52 citations, with the details of the role of female characters in the domestic sphere of 28 citations, the role of female characters in the public sphere totaling 24 citations; 3) the gender equality of 12 quotes; And 4) the implementation of teaching materials amounted to 16 citations. The findings of the analysis, excerpts on the role of most prominent female figures are quotes on domestic roles, particularly dominated by the role of female characters as mothers. The analysis of the role of female characters in the novel I am Terrorist Wife by Abidah El Khalieqy can be concluded that the novel is very suitable if implemented as material of learning materials of Indonesian language and literature in high school.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi yang jelas, mendalam dan komperhensif tentang: 1) struktur novel Akulah Istri Teroris karya Abidah El Khalieqy: 2) peran tokoh perempuan pada novel Akulah Istri Teroris karya Abidah El Khalieqy: 3) kesetaraan gender tokoh perempuan yang terdapat pada novel Akulah Istri teroris karya Abidah El Khalieqy: 4) implementasi novel akulah Istri Teroris karya Abidah El Khalieqi sebagai materi pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SMA. Subjek penelitian ini adalah novel Akulah Istri Teroris karya Abidah El Khalieqy, sedangkan metodologi penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Penelitian ini mengasilkan temuan 124 kutipan, yang terdiri dari 1) analisis unsur intrinsik sebanyak 44 kutipan dengan perincian, tema sebanyak 3 kutipan, penokohan sebanyak 24 kutipan, latar sebanyak 16 kutipan, dan amanat 1 kutipan; 2) peran tokoh perempuan sebanyak 52 kutipan, dengan perincian peran tokoh perempuan dalam ranah domestik berjumlah 28 kutipan, peran tokoh perempuan dalam ranah publik berjumlah 24 kutipan; 3) kestaraan gender berjumlah 12 kutipan; dan 4) implementasi bahan ajar berjumlah 16 kutipan. Hasil temuan analisis tersebut, kutipan tentang peran tokoh perempuan yang paling banyak adalah kutipan tentang peran domestik, terutama didominasi oleh peran tokoh perempuan sebagai ibu. Hasil analisis peran tokoh perempuan dalam Novel Akulah Istri Teroris karya Abidah El Khalieqy dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel tersebut sangat cocok jika diimplementasikan sebagai materi bahan pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SMA. | |||||||||
