Abstract
NONI KUSIAH. NIM. 6662091709. SKRIPSI. PERSEPSI MAHASISWA UNTIRTA MENGENAI PESAN DI AKUN TWITTER SBY. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena fenomena akun twitter @SBYudhoyono yang memicu banyak reaksi dari berbagai kalangan. Salah satunya termasuk mahasiswa Untirta. Hal ini peneliti anggap menarik untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Untirta yang menjadi follower dari akun twitter presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono melalui akun @SBYudhoyono. Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian adalah bagaimana penyeleksian pesan, pengorganisasian, dan interpretasi pesan yang masuk di akun twitter @SBYudhoyono terhadap persepsi yang diberikan oleh mahasiswa Untirta.Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori perbedaan individu (Individual Differences Theory). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatifdimana peneliti berusaha mencoba untuk memaparkan dan menafsirkan data yang ada untuk memperoleh gambaran secara sistematis mengenai persepsi mahasiswa Untirta mengenai pesan di akun twitter SBY. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Untirta yang menjadi follower dari akun twitter @SBYudhoyono sebanyak 99 orang, pemilihan responden dilakukan dengan menggunakan stratified proporsional random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa Untirta dengan tingkat penyeleksian pesan tinggi yaitu sebesar 63%. Tingkat pengorganisasian pesan juga tinggi yaitu 69,51%. Dan tingkat interpretasi pesan pun tinggi yaitu sebesar 67,42%. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, pesan, dan twitter.

This reaserch was effected because the phenomenon of twitter account @SBYudhoyono that triggers a lot of reaction from various walks of life. One of them including students of sultan agengtirtayasa University. This reaserch is interesting as to know the perception of student Untirta who became a followerof the twitter accounts of presidentSusiloBambangYudhoyono through the @SBYudhoyono accounts. Formulation of the problem in the reaserch are how is the selection of messages, organizing, and interpretation of messages coming from a twitter account @SBYudhoyono of perception given by the student of Untirta. The theory used in this reaserch is the theory of individual differences (individual differences theory). This reaserch uses descriptive quantitative methods where reaserchers tried for exposing and interpretating data to abtain the description in a systematic concern student of Untirta perception about the messages from twitter account @SBYudhoyono. The respondent in this reaserch is the student of Untirta who became a follower of twitter account @SBYudhoyono as many asa 99 people. The selection of respondent is performed using stratified proporsional random sampling. This reaserch result describes student perception of Untirta with a hight level of selection message that amounted to 63%. Organizing messages are also high level 69,51%. And high level of many message interpretation is equal to 67,42%. Keywords: Perception, messages, and twitter. |
