Abstract
Goal Programming is one that is deemed appropriate mathematical model used to solve the problem of multi purpose because through variable deviation, goal programming automatically capture information about the relative achievement of goals there. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing and using the system make to order. The company manufactures quality iron and steel one product is a steel slab. Slab steel produced consists of a steel slab containing alloy and without alloy. In each of these there is a grade slab showing the ingredients on each slabnya. In this study, the products covered are without alloy steel slab as the slab is a slab which is the majority of products ordered by customers. The study focused on the slab without alloy with three grades of low grade slab, garde medium and high grade. Problems faced by the company is self-produced slab is more expensive to produce than the slab import from other companies for comparison ranged around 40% of the price of PT. XYZ. These results indicate that all functions are achievable goals. Gains on target, production demand is fulfilled, and the number of import is reduced.

| Additional Information: | Goal Programming adalah salah satu model matematis yang dipandang sesuai digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah multi tujuan karena melalui variabel deviasinya, goal programming secara otomatis menangkap informasi tentang pencapaian relatif dari tujuan yang ada. PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri manufaktur dan menggunakan sistem make to order. Perusahaan ini memproduksi besi dan baja berkualitas salah satu produknya adalah slab baja. Slab baja yang diproduksi terdiri dari slab baja yang mengandung alloy dan tanpa alloy. Pada masing-masing slab tersebut terdapat grade yang menunjukan kandungan bahan pada setiap slabnya. Pada penelitian ini produk yang dibahas adalah slab baja tanpa alloy karena slab tersebut adalah slab yang merupakan mayoritas produk dipesan oleh konsumen. Penelitian difokuskan pada slab tanpa alloy dengan tiga grade yaitu slab grade low, garde medium dan grade high. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan ini menurut sumber hasil wawancara slab yang diproduksi sendiri lebih mahal biaya produksinya dibanding slab import dari perusahaan lain karena perbandingannya berkisar sekitar 40% dari harga PT. XYZ. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa semua fungsi tujuan tercapai. Keuntungan yang sesuai target, permintaan produksi terpenuhi, dan jumlah import berkurang. | |||||||||
