Abstract
This research is motivated by the need of students for the existence of teaching materials that can explain the material of the human digestive system concretely so that the researchers are interested to develop the teaching materials in the form of comics because with the combination of verbal and nonverbal language in comics can accelerate readers understand with the content in question. The purpose of this research is to find out how the process of developing teaching materials in the form of comics on human digestive system material for 5th grade students of elementary school and produce teaching materials in the form of comics on human digestive system material for 5th grade students Basic. The research method used in this research is research and deve;opment method. Data collection techniques used are literature studies and questionnaires, while data analysis techniques performed by using descriptive analysis techniques, namely by analyzing quantitative data which is then interpreted in a qualitative sense.The result of research and development shows that the process of developing teaching materials in the form of comics on the materials of human digestive system through six stages is data analysis, data collection, product design, product design validation, product improvement and product trial. In addition, the feasibility test of the teaching materials in the form of comics on the human digestive system material into the category "very feasible" with 85% design test results, 90% material test results, 89.3% education test results. While the results of tests conducted to 22 5th grade students SDN Jati 1 is 88% and entered into the criteria of "very good".

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kebutuhan siswa akan adanya bahan ajar yang dapat menjelaskan materi sistem pencernaan manusia secara konkret sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk komik karena dengan adanya perpaduan antara bahasa verbal dan nonverbal pada komik dapat mempercepat pembaca paham dengan isi yang dimaksud. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk komik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar dan menghasilkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk komik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur dan kuesioner, sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif, yaitu dengan menganalisis data kuantitatif yang kemudian ditafsirkan dalam pengertian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa proses pengembangan bahan ajar dalam bentuk komik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia melalui enam tahapan yaitu analisis data, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain produk, perbaikan produk dan uji coba produk. Selain itu, uji kelayakan bahan ajar dalam bentuk komik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia masuk ke dalam kategori “sangat layak” dengan hasil uji desain sebesar 85%, hasil uji materi sebesar 90%, hasil uji pendidikan sebesar 89,3%. Sedangkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan kepada 22 orang siswa kelas 5 SDN Jati 1 adalah sebesar 88% dan masuk kedalam kriteria “sangat baik”. | |||||||||
