Abstract
Inventory control is an important part of business functions, particularly for businesses that utilize perishable agricultural items as their primary components. This is exemplified by UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih, which relies on ambon lumut banana as its key ingredient. Throughout its operation, this business has faced challenges resulting in financial losses due to an overstock of raw materials and spoilage. The purpose of this research was to identify the ideal quantity of ambon lumut banana raw material inventory and the optimal ordering frequency to reduce losses and enhance operational efficiency at UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih. The approach to data analysis employed was the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model, supplemented by calculations for Safety Stock, derived from the operational information of the business over the course of a year. The findings indicated that utilizing EOQ, the ideal quantity of raw materials that UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih should procure amounts to 371 kg for each order, with a frequency of 91 orders annually. The necessary safety stock for the raw materials stands at 285 kg. By applying the EOQ model, UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih realizes a cost reduction of Rp 3.761.468 in inventory expenses. Through the use of EOQ, UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih is capable of maximizing the efficiency of raw material inventory, reducing expenses, and enhancing operational productivity.

| Additional Information: | Pengendalian persediaan merupakan bagian penting dari fungsi bisnis, terutama bagi usaha yang menggunakan bahan pertanian yang mudah busuk sebagai komponen utamanya. Hal ini tercermin pada UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih, yang mengandalkan pisang ambon lumut sebagai bahan baku utamanya. Selama beroperasi, usaha ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang mengakibatkan kerugian finansial akibat kelebihan stok bahan baku dan pembusukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah ideal persediaan bahan baku pisang ambon lumut dan frekuensi pemesanan yang optimal guna mengurangi kerugian dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional di UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih. Pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), dilengkapi dengan perhitungan Safety Stock, yang diperoleh dari informasi operasional usaha tersebut selama satu tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model EOQ, jumlah ideal bahan baku yang harus dipesan oleh UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih adalah 371 kg per pesanan, dengan frekuensi 91 pesanan per tahun. Persediaan pengaman yang diperlukan untuk bahan baku tersebut sebesar 285 kg. Dengan menerapkan model EOQ, UMKM Bolu Pisang Ibu Onih berhasil menghemat biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 3.761.468.
