Abstract
School chemistry learning is not only centered on theory, but it also requires the application of the theory that has been studied, namely by conducting experiments that are closely related to the surrounding environment. The type of learning that takes place in the laboratory is called a practicum. Therefore, it is necessary to implement practicum instruction media in schools so that students can practice skills in solving problems in their environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences before and after the implementation of environmentally-based practicum instruction media using the PBL learning model to improve students' learning outcomes on the topic of reaction rates. This type of research is a quantitative pre-experimental study with a pretest-posttest one group design. The sample used in this study consisted of 35 students from class XI-Chemical Analysis 2 at SMKN 2 Kota Tangerang, selected using purposive sampling techniques. This study involved several types of measurement tools, including teaching modules and test questions. The research data obtained were analyzed descriptively using Microsoft Excel and inferentially using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, and paired sample t-tests to test the hypothesis using IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The research conducted successfully demonstrated a difference before and after the implementation of environment-based laboratory instruction media on the reaction rate topic, with a significance value (2-tailed) in the hypothesis test of 0.000. In addition, a difference in the average percentage of test answers of 33% was also obtained. Meanwhile, for the observation sheets, an overall average percentage of 95% in the very good category was obtained, and for the student response questionnaires, an overall average percentage of 87% was obtained

| Additional Information: | Pembelajaran kimia sekolah tidak hanya berpusat kepada teori saja, namun perlu adanya penerapan dari teori yang telah dipelajari yakni dengan melakukan eksperimen yang sangat erat kaitannya di lingkungan sekitar. Jenis pembelajaran yang berlangsung di laboratorium disebut praktikum. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penerapan media petunjuk praktikum di sekolah sehingga peserta didik dapat melatih keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah yang ada di lingkungannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya media petunjuk praktikum berbasis lingkungan dengan model pembelajaran PBL untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada topik laju reaksi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif pre experimental dengan pretest-posttest one group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 35 peserta didik kelas XI-Kimia Analis 2 di SMKN 2 Kota Tangerang yang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa jenis pengukur berupa modul ajar dan soal tes. Data penelitian yang diperoleh secara deskriptif statistik menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan analisis inferensial seperti uji validitas, realibilitas, normalitas, dan paired sample t-test untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistic 27. Penelitian yang dilakukan berhasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya media petunjuk praktikum berbasis lingkungan pada topik laju reaksi dengan nilai sig.(2-tailed) pada uji hipotesis sebesar 0.000. Selain itu, diperoleh juga selisih persentase nilai rata-rata jawaban tes sebesar 33%. Sedangkan, untuk lembar observasi diperoleh rata-rata persentase keseluruhan sebesar 95% kategori sangat baik dan untuk lembar angket respon siswa diperoleh rata-rata persentase keseluruhan sebesar 87%. | |||||||||
