Abstract
Nurses are healthcare professionals who play an important role in providing health services. Health services are currently experiencing very rapid development In carrying out their dutis,nurses have professional responsibilities that must be fulfilled to ensure the quality of healthcare services provided to the community.Nurses are required to have the necessary competencies, comply with legal regulations, and adhere to the nursing code of ethics.Nurses accountability includes ethical, administrative, and disciplinary responsibilities in accordance with statutory regulations, the nursing code of ethics, and standard operating procedures.On the other hand, nurses are also entitled to legal protection when carrying out their practice in accordance with established standards. Ethical accountability refers to the moral obligation to consider patient safety and emphasizes the importance of accountability and integrity in providing healthcare services.Legal protection is an effort undertaken to safeguard citizens in accordance with legal regulations. Legal protection can be carried out preventively and repressively. The purpose of this study is to examine nurses’ ethical accountability in providing patient care. In line with its typology, this research is classified as both normative juridical and empirical, commonly referred to as sociological legal research or field research, employing a qualitative method. The study utilizes secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. The results obtained from this research include practical findings as well as conceptual findings.

| Additional Information: | Perawat merupakan tenaga Kesehatan yang memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan pelayanan Kesehatan.Pelayanan Kesehatan saat ini mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat.Dalam menjalankan tugasnya perawat memiliki tanggungjawab professional yang harus di penuhi untuk menjamin kualitas pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat.Perawat di wajibkan memiliki kompetensi tunduk pada peraturan hukum dan harus mematuhi kode etik keperawatanPertanggungjawaban perawat mencakup tanggung jawab etik,administrasi dan disiplin sesuai ketentuan peraturan perundangundangan,kode etik keperawatan dan standar oprasional prosedur.Di sisi lain,perawat juga berhak memperoleh perlindungan hukum Ketika menjalankan praktik sesuai standar Pertanggungjawaban etik menjelaskan kewajiban moral untuk memepertimbangkan keselamatan pasien serta menekankan pentingnya akuntabilitas dan integrasi dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan. Perlindungan hukum adalah upaya yang di lakukan untuk melindungi warga negara sesuai dengan peraturan hukum.Perlindungnan hukum dapat dilakukan secara preventif dan resprsif.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pertanggungjawaban etik perawat dalam memberi pelayanan bagi pasien.Searah dengan tipologinya penelitian ini adalah penelitian yuridis normatife dan empiris atau biasa disebut penelitian hukum sosiologis atau penelitian lapangan dengan metoda kualitatif menggunakan data sekunder yang terdiri dari bahan hukum primer,bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier.Hasil yang di dapat dari penelitian ini adalah hasil dalam kontek praktis dan hasil temuan dari sisi konseptual. | |||||||||
