Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Digital Praktik Industri (SIMDIPI) sebagai solusi peningkatan efektivitas administrasi dan monitoring praktik industri pada Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah proses administrasi yang masih manual, rawan kesalahan, lambat, serta tidak adanya pelacakan status dokumen secara real-time. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Waterfall, melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem dibangun dengan teknologi PHP, MySQL, dan Bootstrap, serta dilengkapi fitur pengajuan dokumen online, verifikasi dosen pembimbing dan koordinator PI, serta dashboard pelacakan progres mahasiswa. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi dengan baik dan mampu mengatasi permasalahan administrasi yang sebelumnya terjadi. Validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi memperoleh kategori “Baik” hingga “Sangat Baik”. Selain itu, hasil respon pengguna juga menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan tinggi terhadap kemudahan penggunaan, kejelasan informasi, dan efektivitas sistem dalam membantu proses praktik industri. Dengan demikian, SIMDIPI dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai sistem pendukung administrasi dan monitoring praktik industri. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa sistem digital yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi data, dan transparansi proses praktik industri di lingkungan Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro.

| Additional Information: | This research aims to develop a Digital Industrial Internship System (SIMDIPI) as a solution to improve the effectiveness of administration and monitoring of industrial internships in the Vocational Electrical Engineering Education program. The main problems identified include manual administrative processes, error-prone documentation, slow data handling, and the absence of realtime tracking. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was built using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap and includes features such as online document submission, verification by supervisors and coordinators, and a dashboard for tracking students’ internship progress. The results indicate that the system functions effectively and resolves the administrative issues previously encountered. Validation from media and material experts rated the system as “Good” to “Very Good.” User responses also show high satisfaction with usability, clarity of information, and the system’s effectiveness in supporting internship processes. Therefore, SIMDIPI is considered feasible for use as a digital tool to support industrial internship administration and monitoring.
