Abstract
The high service volume and limited staffing at the Kramatwatu Community Health Center contribute to increased mental and physical workload among pharmacy and medical record personnel, potentially affecting service quality. This study aims to evaluate the levels of mental and physical workload and to propose improvement strategies aligned with actual working conditions. The Bourdon Wiersma method was applied to assess mental workload, while Cardiovascular Load (CVL) was used to measure physical workload. Root cause identification was conducted using the Five Whys Analysis. The results indicate an increase in mental workload from normal/slightly fatigued to mild fatigue, with %CVL values ranging from 30.14% to 40.11%, categorized as requiring improvement. Key contributing factors include uneven task distribution, repetitive activities, and time pressure. Proposed improvements include implementing rotation schedules based on workload assessments, introducing simple digitalization for administrative processes, and applying micro breaks at specific intervals. These findings are expected to support efficiency enhancement and promote worker well-being.
