Abstract
This research aims to investigate the effect of using TikTok ‘Speakeasy’ account videos in enhancing eighth-grade students’ English pronunciation skills at SMPN 1 Cikande. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design divided into an experimental group and a control group. The instrument used was a pronunciation test administered as a pre-test and post-test. The data analysed was used in IBM SPSS 26 Version. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a t-test, which revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This indicates that TikTok ‘Speakeasy’ account videos are effective in enhancing eighth-grade students’ English pronunciation skills. It is suggested that the English teacher can use the videos from the TikTok ‘Speakeasy’ account in the class, especially when teaching Pronunciation.
