Abstract

This thesis aims to describe and identify how the Al-Qur'an Ath- Thabraniyyah Islamic boarding school carries out the transformations that occur in the era of globalization in maintaining its existence as a Salafiyah Islamic boarding school. This research focuses on how Islamic boarding schools are able to transform all fields of education to teaching in Islamic boarding schools to keep up with current developments without eliminating the Islamic boarding school's traditions. This research aims to see the true picture of the transformation carried out by the Al-Qur'an Ath-Thabraniyyah Islamic Boarding School in the era of globalization in maintaining its existence in the era of globalization without losing its characteristic of sin. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research uses Max Weber's modernization theory. The location of the research was at the Ath-Thabraniyyah Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Serang City, Banten. The results of this research show that (1) The teaching activities of the yellow books at the Ath-Thabraniyyah Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School use 3 languages: Arabic, Indonesian and English. (2) There is provision of religious education in the form of Madrasah (3) Use of internet social media at the Ath-Thabraniyyah Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in solving problems in studying the Yellow Book, teachers and students always discuss problems or sentences that are considered wrong or cannot be explained in problem solving. Additional Information: Skripsi ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan serta mengidentifikasi bagaimana pondok pesantren Al-Qur’an Ath-Thabraniyyah melakukan transformasi yang terjadi di era globalisasi dalam menjaga eksistensinya sebagai pesantren salafiyah. Penelitian ini berfokuskan kepada bagaimana pesantren mampu bertransformasi dari segala bidang pendidikan hingga pengajaran yang ada di pesantren untuk mengikuti perkembangan jaman tanpa menghilangkan tradisi kesantrian pesantren tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran sesungguhnya megenai transformasi yang dilakukan oleh Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Ath-Thabraniyyah di era globalisasi dalam menjaga eksistensinya di era globalisasi tanpa menghilangkan ciri khas kesalafiannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui teknik obesrvasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, penelitian menggunakan teori Juggernaut Anthony Giddens. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Ath-Thabraniyyah Kota Serang, Banten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Kegiatan pengajaran kitab-kitab kuning yang dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Ath-Thabraniyyah menggunakan 3 bahasa Arab, Indonesia, Inggris. (2) Adanya peyelenggaran pendidikan keagamaan dalam bentuk Madrasah (3) Penggunaan media sosial internet di Pondok Pesantren Al-Qur’an Ath-Thabraniyyah dalam pemecahan masalah dalam mengkaji kitab kuning guru dan santri selalu berdiskusi mengenai permasalahan atau kalimat yang dianggap keliru atau belum bisa dijelaskin.dalam pemecahan masalah. Kata kunci: Transformasi, Pondok Pesantren, Globalisasi.
