Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of Industrial Practice (PI), School Field Introduction Program (PLP), and learning motivation on the work readiness of students in the Vocational Electrical Engineering Education Study Program at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The background of this research is based on the suboptimal implementation of PI and PLP, as well as the challenge of low student motivation in preparing to enter the workforce. This research employed a quantitative method with an ex-post facto approach. The population consisted of 109 students, with a sample of 59 students determined using the Slovin formula through simple random sampling. The independent variables were PI, PLP, and learning motivation, while the dependent variable was work readiness. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using regression tests to determine both partial and simultaneous effects. The results of this study are expected to provide empirical insights into the contribution of PI, PLP, and learning motivation to students’ work readiness, and to serve as valuable input for the study program in improving the quality of vocational education implementation.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Praktik Industri (PI), Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP), dan motivasi belajar terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya optimalisasi pelaksanaan PI dan PLP, serta tantangan rendahnya motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah 109 mahasiswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 59 orang yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin melalui teknik simple random sampling. Variabel independen penelitian ini adalah PI, PLP, dan motivasi belajar, sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Data diperoleh melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi untuk melihat pengaruh parsial maupun simultan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran empiris mengenai kontribusi PI, PLP, dan motivasi belajar terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, serta menjadi masukan bagi program studi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan pendidikan vokasional. | |||||||||
