Abstract
Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that around 10 million people worldwide experienced thyroid disorders in 2016. In Indonesia, the prevalence of struma cases in individuals aged over 15 years is reported to be 700,000 souls, with the highest incidence in DKI Jakarta at a percentage of 0.7% among a population of 7,609,272, with 53,365 individuals diagnosed with struma. Struma, or goiter, refers to the enlargement of the thyroid gland, which can be diffuse or nodular in shape. The risk of infection occurring in wounds resulting from invasive surgical procedures is generally known as a surgical site infection (SSI). The general objective of this scientific paper is to understand and apply nursing care to postoperative patients with nodular struma, focusing on wound care and the issue of infection risk. The method used in this case study is descriptive in the form of a case study on postoperative patients with nodular struma, incorporating wound care and utilizing nursing care, which includes assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques involve interviews, observations.

| Additional Information: | Data dari World Health Organization (WHO) sekitar 10 juta orang diseluruh dunia pada tahun 2016 mengalami gangguan tiroid. di Indonesia prevalensi terjadinya kasus struma pada orang berusia lebih dari 15 tahun sejumlah 700.000 Jiwa dengan kota tertinggi yaitu DKI Jakarta dengan presentase sebanyak 0,7% dengan jumlah penduduk 7.609.272 dan sebanyak 53.365 jiwa yang terdiagnosa struma. Struma ataupun goiter adalah pembesaran dari kelenjar tiroid, yang bisa berbentuk diffusa ataupun nodusa. Resiko Infeksi yang terjadi pada luka yang ditimbulkan oleh prosedur pembedahan invasif secara umum dikenal dengan infeksi daerah operasi atau Surgical Site Infection. Tujuan umum dari penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini yaitu untuk memahami dan mengaplikasikan asuhan keperawatan pada Pasien post operasi struma nodusa dengan tindakan perawatan luka dengan masalah resiko infeksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini adalah deskriptif dalam bentuk studi kasus pada pasien post operasi struma nodusa dengan tindakan perawatan luka dan menggunakan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi Pengkajian, Diagnosis, Intervensi, implementasi dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data ini adalah menggunakan Teknik wawancara, Observasi, dan Dokumentasi. | ||||||
