Abstract
The aim of the study is to explore the implementation of differentiated instruction by three certified English teachers in Pandeglang, each with over 10 years of teaching experience and as Guru Penggerak. The study employed a narrative research method to explore the teacher's implementation of differentiated instruction. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The data were then analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. To ensure the trustworthiness of the findings, credibility was established through the triangulation of data sources and methods. The result of the study showed that: (1) teachers showed implementation by assessing students' learning profiles, interests, and readiness; they used varied materials like technology tools (text-to-speech, quizzes, YouTube, Spotify, web apps), different worksheets, and diverse assignments (texts, posters, videos); (2) the three teachers faced some challenges as follows: time constraints, difficulties in developing teaching module and classroom management; (3) to overcome some of the challenges in implementing differentiated instruction, the teachers used strategies as follows: flexible grouping, leveling worksheets, and effective learning resource to enhance student learning and create supportive learning environment. To conclude that teachers had implemented differentiated instruction in teaching listening through some strategies even though it still faces some challenges. But the teachers can overcome the challenges with some strategies.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi oleh tiga guru bahasa Inggris tersetifikasi di Pandeglang, masingmasing dengan pengalaman mengajar lebih dari 10 tahun dan sebagai Guru Penggerak. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode penelitian naratif untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi pengajaran yang dibedakan oleh guru-guru tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis tematik. Untuk memastikan keandalan temuan, kredibilitas dibuktikan melalui triangulasi sumber data dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Guru menunjukkan implementasi dengan mengevaluasi profil belajar, minat, dan kesiapan siswa; mereka menggunakan berbagai bahan ajar seperti alat teknologi (text-to-speech, kuis, YouTube, Spotify, aplikasi web), lembar kerja yang beragam, dan tugas-tugas yang bervariasi (teks, poster, video); (2) Ketiga guru menghadapi beberapa tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan dalam mengembangkan modul ajar, dan manajemen kelas; (3) Untuk mengatasi beberapa tantangan dalam menerapkan pengajaran berdiferensiasi, guru menggunakan strategi seperti pengelompokan fleksibel, penyesuaian lembar kerja, dan sumber belajar yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru-guru di Pandeglang telah menerapkan pembelajaran diferensiasi dalam mengajar keterampilan mendengarkan dengan menggunakan beberapa strategi meskipun masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan. | |||||||||
