Abstract

One of the supports for learning in the classroom is learning media. In order to create quality students, teachers must continue to provide innovation in interesting learning media that can make it easier for students to understand information that is appropriate with the learning session. However, the fact is that there are still students who are left behind, one of which is due to the way teachers facilitate learning in the classroom, such as the absence of innovative learning media and teacher-centered learning strategies. Then, this research aims to develop learning media that contains Indonesian language learning material. This research uses Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The result of the product developed is a digital book or e-book for class III elementary school entitled “Mengenal Informasi”. The results of this product are assessed by experts by carrying out revisions until the media product is declared feasible by the experts. In this case, the score given by the material expert was 95% as the score was declared adequate and the score given by the media expert was 86% which was also declared adequate. The effectiveness of student learning outcomes was tested using a test or paired sample test as the results showed that the significant value (2-tailed) was 0.000, namely <0.05. The results of the teacher's response showed that teacher 1's response score was 81% and teacher 2's response was 85%. Apart from the teacher's response, the student's response was also declared adequate with student 1's score reaching 90% and student 2's score reaching 92%. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that the e-book media “Mengenal Informasi” that is very appropriate and effective and gets a positive response from teachers and students, besides that this e-book media can improve the reading skills of class III elementary school students.

Additional Information: Salah satu penunjang pembelajaran di dalam kelas tentunya media pembelajaran. Demi menciptakan peserta didik yang berkualitas, para guru harus terus memberikan inovasi dalam media pembelajaran yang menarik yang dapat mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami informasi yang sesuai dengan yang tengah mereka pelajari. Namun, faktanya masih terdapat peserta didik yang tertinggal salah satunya dikarenakan cara guru memfasilitasi pembelajaran di dalam kelas, seperti tidak adanya inovasi media pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran yang berbasis teacher-centered. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang berisikan materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yakni Analysis, Design, Develope, Implemate, dan Evaluate. Hasil daripada produk yang dikembangkan yaitu buku digital atau e-book kelas III SD yang berjudul ‘Mengenal Informasi’. Hasil produk ini dinilai oleh para ahli dengan melakukan revisi hingga produk media dinyatakan layak oleh para ahli. Dalam hal ini, skor yang diberikan oleh ahli materi yaitu 95% sebagaimana skor tersebut dinyatakan layak dan skor yang diberikan oleh ahli media yakni 86% yang juga dinyatakan layak. Efektivitas hasil belajar peserta didik diuji dengan uji t atau paired sample test sebagaimana hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 yakni < 0,05. Hasil respon guru menunjukkan skor respon guru 1 yakni 81% dan respon guru 2 85% selain respon guru respon peserta didik pun dinyatakan layak dengan skor peserta didik 1 mencapai 90% dan skor peserta didik 2 mencapai 92%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media e-book mengenal informasi sangat layak dan efektif serta mendapatkan respon yang positif dari guru dan peserta didik, selain itu media e-book ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca peserta didik kelas III Sekolah Dasar.
