Abstract
Kemampuan argumentasi merupakan salah satu tuntutan pada pembelajaran IPA. Namun demikian, pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan argumentasi siswa saat ini belum terlaksana secara optimal. Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan menyediakan bahan ajar yang menerapkan indikator kemampuan argumentasi dalam bentuk E-Modul IPA berbasis Question Prompt Scaffolding. Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan tingkat uji keterbacaan E-Modul IPA berbasis Question Prompt Scaffolding Tema Tekanan Hara pada si Hijau untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar angket validasi yang telah diuji oleh ahli Pendidikan IPA yang dibagi menjadi 3 ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli media dan Guru IPA serta angket uji keterbacaan untuk mengukur tingkat uji keterbacaan E-Modul IPA. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul IPA yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 86% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Penilaian tersebut diperoleh dari ahli materi 82%, ahli media sebesar 91%, dan Guru IPA sebesar 86%. Adapun Hasil tingkat uji keterbacaan produk E-Modul IPA berbasis Question Prompt Scaffolding didapatkan dari hasil respon siswa, mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 94% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul IPA berbasis Question Prompt Scaffolding Tema Tekanan Hara pada si Hijau untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa kelas VIII telah tervalidasi dari penilaian semua validator. | Additional Information: | ABSTRACT Argumentation skills are one of the requirements in science education. However, teaching to develop students' argumentation skills has not been implemented optimally. One solution is to provide teaching materials that apply argumentation skill indicators in the form of science e-modules based on Question Prompt Scaffolding. The purpose of this research and development study is to determine the validity and readability of the E-Module for science education based on Question Prompt Scaffolding with the theme of “Nutrient Pressure on Green Plants” to enhance students' argumentation skills in grade VIII. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), with the research and development model based on the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were a validation questionnaire validated by science education experts, divided into three categories: content experts, media experts, and science teachers, as well as a readability test questionnaire to measure the readability level of the E-Module. The validation results showed that the developed E-Module achieved an average validity score of 86%, categorized as “Highly Valid.” This assessment was obtained from subject matter experts (82%), media experts (91%), and science teachers (86%). The readability level of the E Module for Science based on Question Prompt Scaffolding was obtained from student responses, achieving a percentage score of 94% with the category “Very Good.” This indicates that the E-Module for Science based on Question Prompt Scaffolding with the theme of Nutrient Pressure on Green Plants to develop argumentation skills in eighth-grade students has been validated by all evaluators.
