Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to investigate the English teacher prepare in learning planning in the implementing of Kurikulum Merdeka, (2) to investigate the English teacher in learning process in the implementing of Kurikulum Merdeka, 3) to investigate the English teacher assess in the implementing of Kurikulum Merdeka, and (4) to find out the English teacher’s perception in the implementing of Kurikulum Merdeka. Some data collection in the qualitative method was used in this study, such as observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis used in this research includes data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verification. For the validity of the data, the researcher used the triangulation methodology. The results showed: (1) the English teacher prepared in learning planning in the Kurikulum Merdeka, which prepares teacher’s readiness, analyses the learning outcomes (CP) and learning objective flow (ATP), modifies the teaching modules, creates the learning media and conducts diagnostic assessments. (2) the English teacher has implemented a learning process including opening, core and closing activities. Teacher has implemented differentiated learning and the competency of the Pancasila Students Profile has been achieved. (3) the English teacher assessed in implementing Kurikulum Merdeka used formative and summative assessments. (4) the English teacher’s perception in implementing Kurikulum Merdeka has a positive perception. So, the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka by English teacher at SMAN 1 Ciruas has been implemented well.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk menyelidiki guru Bahasa Inggris dalam mempersiapkan perencanaan pembelajaran pada penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, (2) untuk menyelidiki guru Bahasa Inggris dalam proses pembelajaran pada penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, 3) untuk menyelidiki guru dalam proses menilai pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, dan (4) untuk mengetahui persepsi guru Bahasa Inggris dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, seperti observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Untuk keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan metodologi triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) guru Bahasa Inggris mempersiapkan perencanaan pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, diantaranya mempersiapkan kesiapan guru, menganalisis hasil pembelajaran (CP) dan alur tujuan pembelajaran (ATP), memodifikasi modul pengajaran, membuat media pembelajaran dan melakukan penilaian diagnostik. (2) guru Bahasa Inggris telah menerapkan proses pembelajaran termasuk kegiatan pembukaan, inti dan penutup. Guru telah menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan kompetensi Profil Siswa Pancasila telah tercapai. (3) Guru Bahasa Inggris dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka menggunakan penilaian formatif dan sumatif. (4) Pendapat guru Bahasa Inggris dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka adalah positif. Dengan demikian, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka oleh guru Bahasa Inggris di SMAN 1 Ciruas telah terlaksana dengan baik.
