Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of using the TikTok-based Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' learning motivation in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). The approach used was mixed methods research, combining qualitative and quantitative methods in a single study to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon being studied. The subjects in this study were seventh-grade students at SMPN 2 Ciruas, with a total sample of 38 students selected using cluster random sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using SPSS version 27. The results showed that the implementation of the TikTok-based PBL model significantly increased students' learning motivation. These findings indicate that integrating social media, which is familiar and popular with students, can increase their engagement and enthusiasm in the learning process.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang berbasis media aplikasi TikTok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mix methods research), yaitu gabungan antara metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam satu penelitian guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih menyeluruh terhadap fenomena yang dikaji. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Ciruas, dengan total sampel sebanyak 38 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 27. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbasis TikTok memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi media sosial yang familiar dan diminati oleh siswa mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan semangat mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. | |||||||||
