Abstract

This research was conducted at BSIP Banten from September to November 2024. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was of Varieties Curly Lettuce (V) consisting of 2 treatment levels, namely: New Karina Variety (V1), New Grand Rapid Variety (V2). The second factor was the Growing Media Combination (P) with 4 treatment levels, namely: Control (Soil, P0), Soil + Rice Husk Charcoal + Animal Manure Fertilizer (P1), Soil + Animal Manure Fertilizer (P2), Soil + Rice Husk Charcoal (P3). Theresults showed that the use of the New Grand Rapid variety (V2) gave the best results for plant height at 7 DAP (3.95 cm), 14 DAP (6.24 cm), 21 DAP (9.96 cm), and 35 DAP (18.54 cm), number of leaves at 35 DAP (10.59 leaves), fresh weight at 40 DAP (8.84 g), and dry weight at 40 DAP (3.60 g). The treatment combination of soil growing media (P0) gave the best results for plant height at 35 days after planting (DAP) (17.94 cm), number of leaves at 35 DAP (11.06 leaves), fresh weight at 40 DAP (10.31 g), and dry weight at 40 DAP (3.21 g). There was an interaction between the growing media combination and the two curly lettuce varieties on the leaf width parameter at 35 DAP.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di BSIP Banten pada bulan September – November 2024. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu Varietas Tanaman Selada Keriting (V) yang terdiri dari 2 taraf percobaan, yaitu Varietas New Karina (V1) dan Varietas New Grand Rapid (V1). Faktor kedua yaitu Kombinasi Media Tanam (P) dengan 4 taraf percobaan, yaitu Kontrol (Tanah, P0), Tanah + Arang sekam + Pupuk kotoran hewan (1:1:1) (P1), Tanah + Pupuk kotoran hewan (2:1) (P2), Tanah + Arang sekam (1:2) (P3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan varietas New Grand Rapid (V2) memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 7 HST (3,95 cm), 14 HST (6,24 cm), 21 HST (9,96 cm), dan 35 HST (18,54 cm), jumlah daun umur 35 HST (10,59 helai), bobot basah umur 40 HST (8,84 g) dan bobot kering umur 40 HST (3,60 g). Perlakuan kombinasi media tanam tanah (P0) memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 35 HST (17,94cm), jumlah daun umur 35 HST (11,06 helai), bobot basah umur 40 HST (10,31 g), dan bobot kering umur 40 HST (3,21 g). Terdapat interaksi pada kombinasi media tanam dan dua varietas tanaman selada keriting pada parameter lebar daun umur 35 HST.
