Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of differentiated learning based on multiple intelligences, particularly linguistic and intrapersonal intelligences, on students' critical thinking skills in history learning. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang with a population of 478 tenth-grade students. The research sample consisted of 70 students selected using purposive sampling, with class X.2 as the control group and class X.3 as the experimental group. The method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a two-group pretestposttest design. The research instrument was a critical thinking skills test based on historical material. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental and control groups (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), so Hₐ was accepted and H₀ was rejected. This proves that differentiated learning based on multiple intelligences has an effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills. This learning model provides significant benefits in supporting a comprehensive learning process. By giving students the opportunity to learn according to their needs, interests, and learning styles particularly through linguistic and intrapersonal intelligences students become more actively involved in the learning process, which positively impacts the development of their critical thinking skills.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis multiple intelligences, khususnya kecerdasan linguistik dan intrapersonal, terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang dengan populasi sebanyak 478 siswa kelas X. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan kelas X.2 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan X.3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental berupa two-group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berbasis materi sejarah. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil postes kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05), sehingga Hₐ diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis multiple intelligences berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pembelajaran ini memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam mendukung proses belajar secara menyeluruh. Dengan memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk belajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan, minat, dan gaya belajar mereka khususnya melalui pendekatan kecerdasan linguistik dan intrapersonal siswa menjadi lebih aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran, yang berdampak positif terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis. | |||||||||
