Abstract
This research aims to analyze the perception of the younger generation towards work in the agricultural sector. This research was conducted in Pasanggrahan Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency for six months from December 2024 to May 2025. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive with an analysis method using multiple linear regression analysis with IBM SPSS V.21 software. The sampling technique used was probability sampling using the slovin formula and obtained 100 respondents. The results of the study obtained that the perception of the young generation in Pasanggrahan Village on the interest in working in the agricultural sector is categorized as very good for the level of education, land ownership and social and family environment. The factors that affect the interest of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector are partially agricultural experience, land ownership, and social and family environment while education level does not partially affect the interest in working in the agricultural sector. The perception of the younger generation has a significant positive effect simultaneously on interest in working in the agricultural sector. The magnitude of the relationship between independent variables in influencing dependent variables is 72.8%.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi generasi muda terhadap pekerjaan di sektor pertanian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pasanggrahan, Kecamatan Pabuaran, Kabupaten Serang selama enam bulan pada bulan Desember 2024 sampai dengan Mei 2025. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan software IBM SPSS V.21. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling menggunakan rumus slovin dan diperoleh 100 responden. Hasil penelitian diperoleh persepsi generasi muda di Desa Pasanggrahan terhadap minat bekerja di sektor pertanian dikategorikan sangat baik untuk tingkat pendidikan, kepemilikan lahan dan lingkungan sosial & keluarga. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat generasi muda untuk bekerja di sektor pertanian secara parsial yaitu pengalaman usahatani, kepemilikan lahan, serta lingkungan sosial & keluarga sedangkan tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap minat bekerja di sektor pertanian. Persepsi generasi muda berpengaruh positif signifikan secara simultan terhadap minat bekerja di sektor pertanian. Adapun besarnya hubungan variabel independen dalam mempengaruhi variabel dependen sebesar 72,8%. | |||||||||
