Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of Foreign Direct Investment, Fossil Fuel Subsidies, Industrial Sector Value Added, and Population on Carbon Emissions in five ASEAN countries in 2010-2023. This study uses panel data consisting of time series data for the period 2010-2023 and cross-section data in five ASEAN member countries. The analysis tool used is panel data regression. Based on the results of this study, it shows that partially the Foreign Direct Investment variable,the Fossil Fuel Subsidies variable, Industrial Sector Value Added variable, and Population variables have a significant positive effect on Carbon Emissions in five ASEAN countries in 2010-2023. Thus, simultaneously it shows that the variables of Foreign Direct Investment, Fossil Fuel Subsidies, Industrial Sector Value Added, and Population have a significant effect on Carbon Emissions in five ASEAN countries in 2010-2023.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Investasi Asing Langsung, Subsidi Energi Fosil, Nilai Tambah Sektor Industri, dan Populasi Penduduk terhadap Emisi Karbon Dioksida di lima negara ASEAN pada tahun 2010-2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel yang terdiri dari data time series periode 2010-2023 dan data cross section pada 5 negara anggota ASEAN. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel Investasi Asing Langsung berpengaruh positif signifikan, variabel Subsidi Energi Fosil berpengaruh positif signifikan, variabel Nilai Tambah Sektor Industri berpengaruh positif signifikan, dan variabel Populasi Penduduk berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Emisi Karbon Dioksida di lima negara ASEAN tahun 2010-2023. Demikian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel nvestasi Asing Langsung, Subsidi Energi Fosil, Nilai Tambah Sektor Industri, dan Populasi Penduduk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Emisi Karbon Dioksida di lima negara ASEAN pada tahun 2010-2023. | |||||||||
