Abstract
This study aims to examine the mathematical conceptual understanding of students at SMPN 10 Kota Serang after the implementation of the RADEC learning model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) combined with a differentiated learning approach. This research employs a quantitative method with a Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Groups design. The population consists of all ninth-grade students at SMPN 10 Kota Serang, with a sample of 74 students divided into two classes: an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class used the RADEC learning model with a differentiated learning approach, while the control class applied the Problem Based Learning model. The research instruments used were a mathematical conceptual understanding test and a student perception questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that: 1) students who were taught using the RADEC model with a differentiated learning approach showed better conceptual understanding compared to those taught using the Problem Based Learning model; 2) based on the perception questionnaire, students expressed interest and gave positive responses toward the RADEC model combined with the differentiated learning approach.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMPN 10 Kota Serang setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Groups. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 10 Kota Serang, dengan sampel sebanyak 74 siswa yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran RADEC dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep matematis dan angket persepsi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model RADEC dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning; 2) berdasarkan hasil angket persepsi, siswa menunjukkan ketertarikan dan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran dengan model RADEC yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. | |||||||||
