Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of a web-based learning media called ECO WEB, which integrates environmental literacy in the topic of environmental change. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method based on the Sugiyono model, which includes the stages of potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and limited-scale product trials. The research was conducted at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and SMAN 1 Waringinkurung from January to May 2025. The user response test involved one biology teacher and 14 tenth-grade students, preceded by validation from six lecturers as media and material experts. Questionnaires were used as instruments to assess feasibility and user responses. The results showed that the media was considered highly feasible, with an average score of 97.6% from material experts and 95.45% from media experts. In addition, responses from teachers and students indicated an excellent category, with average scores of 100% and 99.1%, respectively. Based on these findings, ECO WEB is considered suitable as an environmental literacy-based learning media for teaching environmental change in biology.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis web bernama ECO WEB berbasis literasi lingkungan pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) menurut model penelitian Sugiyono yang mencakup tahap analisis potensi dan masalah pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk skala terbatas. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa dan SMAN 1 Waringinkurung pada Bulan Januari–Mei 2025. Subjek uji respons pengguna terdiri dari satu guru biologi dan 14 siswa kelas X, yang sebelumnya melibatkan enam dosen sebagai ahli media dan ahli materi tahap validasi kelayakan media. Instrumen berupa angket digunakan untuk mengukur kelayakan dan respon pengguna. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan media tergolong sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata ahli materi sebesar 97,6% dan ahli media sebesar 95,45%, sedangkan respon guru dan siswa menunjukkan kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata guru yaitu 100% dan siswa sebesar 99,1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ECO WEB dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis literasi lingkungan pada pembelajaran biologi materi perubahan lingkungan.
