Abstract
In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly developed and brought significant changes to various sectors, including education. Although AI offers many advantages, its use can lead to biased information, which may negatively affect students’ learning comprehension. This study aims to examine the impact of AI usage on students' learning interest and their ability to explore ideas and data patterns. A quantitative research method was applied using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were gathered through questionnaires from active students in the Faculty of Engineering. The findings reveal that AI usage has a positive and significant effect on learning interest, with a path coefficient of 0.818 and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Additionally, AI also positively and significantly affects students' ability to explore ideas and analyze data patterns, with a path coefficient of 0.796 and a p-value of 0.000. This research is expected to support educational institutions in optimizing AI-based learning strategies.
