Abstract
Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is one of the most favored vegetable crops in Indonesia due to its short harvest period. Lettuce cultivation can be carried out using a hydroponic system; however, the high costs associated with the installation and use of AB Mix nutrients often hinder optimal cultivation and production. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of concentration and frequency of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) derived from rice washing water on the growth and yield of lettuce using a wick-type hydroponic system. The research was conducted from July to August 2024 at Teratai Hydrofarm Tangerang City. The experiment was designed using a split plot design with two factors: (1) the concentration of AB Mix combined with rice washing water LOF (K), and (2) the frequency of LOF application (F). The results showed that the application of 50% AB Mix + 50% LOF (K2) produced the best outcomes in several parameters, including the number of leaves at 35 days after planting (DAP) (9 leaves), total fresh weight (39,48 g), and shoot fresh weight at 35 DAP (25,70 g). The treatment with a 5-day interval of LOF application (F1) resulted in the largest stem diameter at 35 DAP (8,08 mm). Meanwhile, a 7-day application frequency (F2) resulted in the tallest plant height at 35 DAP (22,37 cm). The 9-day frequency (F3) yielded the highest total fresh weight at harvest (39,48 g) and the highest shoot fresh weight (25,70 g). There was a significant interaction between the combination of AB Mix and LOF concentrations with the frequency of LOF application on plant height, number of leaves at 21 DAP and 35 DAP, and shoot fresh weight at 35 DAP.

| Additional Information: | Selada merupakan tanaman yang populer di kalangan pencinta hidroponik. Untuk mendapatkan tanaman selada yang segar dan berkualitas, budidaya umumnya dilakukan menggunakan sistem hidroponik sumbu dengan penambahan nutrisi. Namun, penggunaan nutrisi buatan seperti AB Mix masih tergolong mahal, sehingga menyebabkan proses budidaya dan produksi menjadi kurang efisien. Dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi dan frekuensi pemberian pupuk organik cair air cucian beras terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.) secara hidroponik sistem sumbu. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober sampai November 2024, di Teratai Hydrofarm, Kota Tangerang. Ekperimen dirancang dengan menggunakan split plot design dengan dua faktor yaitu konsentrasi AB Mix + POC air cucian beras (K) dan frekuensi pemberian POC (F). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi nutrisi POC air cucian beras memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada konsentrasi 50% AB Mix + 50% POC (K2) terhadap parameter jumlah daun 35 HST (9 helai), parameter panen bobot basah keseluruhan di 35 HST (39,48 gr), dan basah tajuk 35 HST (25,70 gr). Perlakuan frekuensi pemberian 5 hari sekali (F1) diameter batang menghasilkan hasil terbaik 35 HST (8,08 mm). Pada frekuensi pemberian POC 7 hari (F2) sekali memberikan pengaruh terbaik tinggi tanaman 35 HST (22,37 cm). Pada frekuensi pemberian 9 hari sekali (F3) memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter panen bobot basah keseluruhan tanaman 35 HST (39,48 gr) dan bobot basah tajuk tanaman (25,70 gr). Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan konsentrasi POC air cucian beras dengan frekuensi pemberian POC pada parameter tinggi tanaman, parameter jumlah daun 21 HST dan 35 HST, dan parameter bobot basah tajuk 35 HST. | |||||||||
