Abstract
This research aimed to determine the effect of various concentrations of soursop leaf decoction extract on controlling rice grasshopper (Oxya chinensis). This study used an experimental method with a Non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment was a type of extract with 6 levels of treatment, namely S0: Control, S0+: Sipermetrin 1 ml/l, S1: 10% extract, S2: 40% extract, S3: 70% extract, and S4: 100% extract. In this study, there were 6 levels of treatment with each treatment repeated 4 times so that there were 24 experimental unit. The research was conducted at the Pest and Disease Observation Laboratory (LPHP) Region 2 Pandeglang and in Kp. Daleum Pasir RT 01/02, Kaduagung Timur Village, Cibadak District, Lebak Regency, Banten, from January to February 2025. The observed parameters included O. chinensis mortality, lethal time 50% (LT₅₀), morphological changes, final body weight, and feed weight. The results showed that the soursop leaf extract had a significant effect on the mortality of O. chinensis. The effectiveness of control increased with the concentration applied. The best treatment was observed at the 70% concentration (S3), with a mortality rate of 87.5%, final body weight of 2.46 grams, feed weight of 35.93%, and an LT₅₀ value of 79.21 hours. In addition, morphological changes occurred, such as discoloration of the body to brown or black, which is suspected to be caused by the active compounds in the soursop leaf extract. Thus, soursop leaf extract has the potential to be used as an effective and environmentally friendly botanical pesticide for controlling Oxya chinensis.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efek dari berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak rebusan daun sirsak pada pengendalian belalang padi(Oxya chinensis). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Desain Acak Lengkap Non-faktorial (RAL). Perawatannya adalah jenis ekstrak dengan 6 tingkat perawatan, yaitu S0: Kontrol, S0+: Sipermetrin 1 ml/l, S1: ekstrak 10%, S2: ekstrak 40%, S3: ekstrak 70%, dan S4: ekstrak 100%. Dalam penelitian ini, ada 6 tingkat perawatan dengan setiap perawatan diulang 4 kali sehingga ada 24 unit eksperimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Pengamatan Hama dan Penyakit (LPHP) Wilayah 2 Pandeglang dan di Kp. Daleum Pasir RT 01/02, Desa Kaduagung Timur, Kecamatan Cibadak, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten, dari Januari hingga Februari 2025. Parameter yang diamati termasuk kematian O. chinensis, waktu mematikan 50% (LT50), perubahan morfologi, berat badan akhir, dan berat pakan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun sirsak memiliki efek signifikan pada kematian O. chinensis. Efektivitas kontrol meningkat dengan konsentrasi yang diterapkan. Perawatan terbaik diamati pada konsentrasi 70% (S3), dengan tingkat kematian 87,5%, berat badan akhir 2,46 gram, berat pakan 35,93%, dan nilai LT50 79,21 jam. Selain itu, perubahan morfologis terjadi, seperti perubahan warna tubuh menjadi coklat atau hitam, yang diduga disebabkan oleh senyawa aktif dalam ekstrak daun sirsak. Dengan demikian, ekstrak daun sirsak memiliki potensi untuk digunakan sebagai pestisida nabatiyang efektif dan ramah lingkungan untuk mengendalikan Oxya chinensis. | |||||||||
