Abstract

One of the problems found in science learning is the lack of students critical thinking skills. This research was conducted to determine the level of validity and student response of LKPD teaching materials based on the SSCS model to foster students critical thinking skills. The development model used by the 4-D model has the stages define, design, develop, dessiminate. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The instruments used were interview questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and validation questionnaires. Analyze the data descriptively and qualitatively. The percentage results of validating LKPD teaching materials obtained from material expert validators were 90,20% (very valid), teaching material expert validators 87,70% (very valid), practitioner expert validators 90,97% (very valid). The result of the student response level show a percentage value with an averge of 86,07% (very valid). With this, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on the SSCS model of mixed separation material can be used by students in the science learning process.

Additional Information: Salah satu permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran IPA yaitu kurangnya tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar LKPD berbasis model SSCS untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan model 4-D memiliki tahapan define, design, develop, disseminate. Metode yang digunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket wawancara, angket respon siswa, dan angket validasi. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil persentase validasi bahan ajar LKPD yang diperoleh dari validator ahli materi 90,20% (sangat valid), validator ahli bahan ajar 87,70% (sangat valid), validator ahli praktisi 90,97% (sangat valid). Hasil dari tingkat respon siswa menunjukkan nilai persentase dengan rata-rata 86,07% (sangat valid). Dengan hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis model SSCS materi pemisahan campuran dapat digunakan oleh siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA.
