Abstract

The increasingly rapid advancement of technology demands creative thinking skills, one effort to improve students' creative thinking is through the application of teaching materials in the form of metaverse e-modules combined with project-based learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing PjBL assisted by metaverse-based hydroponic cultivation e-modules on students' creative thinking skills. This research is a type of quantitative research with an experimental method and a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted in July 2024-May 2025 at SMAN 8 Serang City. The population used was class XII IPA students at SMAN 8 Serang City. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely XII IPA 2 as the control class and XII IPA 3 as the experimental class. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the average posttest score of the control class was 49.05 and the experimental class was 68.57. The results of the hypothesis test analysis level of 0,000 indicated that there is an effect of implementing PjBL assisted by metaverse-based hydroponic cultivation emodules on students' creative thinking skills.

Additional Information: Kemajuan teknologi yang semakin pesat menuntut adanya keterampilan berpikir kreatif, salah satu upaya untuk dapat meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa adalah melalui penerapan bahan ajar berupa e-modul metaverse yang dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran project-based learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan PjBL berbantuan e-modul budidaya hidroponik berbasis metaverse terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Juli 2024-Mei 2025 di SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas XII IPA di SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu XII IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XII IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 49,05 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 68,57. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan PjBL berbantuan e-modul budidaya hidroponik berbasis metaverse terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.
