Abstract

This research is based on the problem of low critical thinking skills of students and the lack of learning media used by teachers in learning. Based on the analysis of the problem, an interactive e-booklet learning media was developed which was designed as a supporting media to support the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. This study aims to assess the validity and student responses to the interactive e-booklet with the topic of traditional Banten culinary. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model approach, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments include validation sheets from experts and student response questionnaires, which have previously been validated by instrument experts (judgment). The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results of the study showed that the interactive e-booklet has a very high level of validity with an average score of 91.96% from the validation of material experts, learning media, and junior high school science teachers. After being revised, the product was tested on a limited basis to students and received a response with a percentage of 91.78% which is included in the "Very Good" category. Based on these results, the interactive e-booklet was declared suitable for use as a learning medium. Keywords: E-booklet, Banten local wisdom, critical thinking skills

Additional Information: Penelitian ini didasari oleh permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dan kurangnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis permasalahan maka dikembangkanlah media pembelajaran e-booklet interaktif yang dirancang sebagai media pendukung dalam menunjang kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai validitas dan respon peserta didik terhadap e-booklet interaktif dengan topik kuliner tradisional Banten. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahapan: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi dari para ahli dan angket respon peserta didik, yang sebelumnya telah divalidasi oleh ahli instrumen (judgement). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-booklet interaktif memiliki tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 91,96% dari validasi ahli materi, media pembelajaram, dan guru IPA SMP. Setelah direvisi, produk diujicobakan secara terbatas kepada peserta didik dan memperoleh respon dengan persentase 91,78% yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-booklet interaktif dinyatakan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : E-booklet, kearifan lokal Banten, kemampuan berpikir kritis
