Abstract
This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematical reflective thinking, declining character and cultural values in students. One solution to improve students' mathematical reflective thinking ability is to use a metacognitive scaffolding approach, while to improve the value of character and local culture in students, one of which is to use student worksheets (LKPD) based on character and local culture. This study aims to determine the final achievement of mathematical reflective thinking ability and students' responses to learning using metacognitive scaffolding based on character and local culture. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental form with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was all students of class X of SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang with samples of class X 8 (experimental class) and X 9 (control class), using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a mathematical reflective thinking ability test instrument. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results and analysis of research data, it was obtained that the final achievement of reflective mathematical thinking skills of students who received a metacognitive scaffolding approach based on character and local culture was higher than students who received a contextual approach, and received a positive response from students towards learning mathematics using the metacognitive scaffolding approach.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis, merosotnya karakter dan nilai budaya pada siswa. Solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan scaffolding metakognitif, sedangkan untuk meningkatkan nilai karakter dan budaya lokal pada siswa salah satunya dengan menggunakan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis karakter dan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian akhir kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan scaffolding metakognitif berbasis karakter dan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan quasi eksperiment dengan bentuk non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kota Serang dengan sampel kelas X 8 (kelas eksperimen) dan X 9 (kelas kontrol), menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis. Analisis data yang dilakukan yakni statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data penelitian diperoleh bahwa pencapaian akhir kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pendekatan scaffolding metakognitif berbasis karakter dan budaya lokal lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memperoleh pendekatan kontekstual, serta mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan scaffolding metakognitif. | |||||||||
