Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture on organizational performance through self-efficacy and employee involvement as mediating variables. The independent variable in this study is organizational culture and the dependent variable is organizational performance. The research was conducted through quantitative method using primary data from survey results. The population in the study were employees at BPS offices in Banten Province, which included employees at the Banten Provincial BPS office and employees at eight regency/municipality BPS offices in Banten Province. Sampling using saturated samples with the number of sample data that was successfully submitted and processed as many as 151 employees. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling with the help of the SmartPLS v.4.0.9.9 data processing program. The results showed that: (1) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. (2) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee self-efficacy. (3) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. (4) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. (5) Employee involvement has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. (6) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect in mediating the relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance. (7) Employee involvement has a positive and significant effect in mediating the relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja organisasi melalui efikasi diri dan keterlibatan pegawai sebagai variabel mediasi. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah budaya organisasi dan variabel dependen adalah kinerja organisasi. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode kuantitatif menggunakan data primer hasil survei. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah pegawai di kantor BPS se-Provinsi Banten yang meliputi pegawai di kantor BPS Provinsi Banten dan pegawai di delapan kantor BPS Kabupaten/Kota se-Provinsi Banten. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah data sampel yang berhasil submit dan diolah sebanyak 151 pegawai. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling dengan bantuan program pengolahan data SmartPLS v.4.0.9.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi. (2) Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efikasi diri pegawai. (3) Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlibatan pegawai. (4) Efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi. (5) Keterlibatan pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi. (6) Efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan kinerja organisasi. (7) Keterlibatan pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan kinerja organisasi.
