Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of application of cow biourine fertilizer and urea fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The research was conducted in Warakas, Kebonratu Village, Lebak Wangi District, Serang Regency, Banten Province, from August-October 2024. This research used a Randomized Block Design which consisted of two factors, namely the first factor was the concentration of cow biourine fertilizer and the second factor was urea fertilizer. The first factor is the concentration of cow biourine fertilizer which consists of four levels, namely without biourine, 200 ml/liter, 400 ml/liter, and 600 ml/liter. The second factor is the dose of urea fertilizer which also consists of four levels: without urea, 2 g/plant, 4 g/plant, and 6 g/plant. The treatment combinations used were 16 combinations with three replications to obtain 48 experimental units. Each unit consisted of two polybags, with one plant per polybag, so the total for the experiment was 96 plants. The results of the research show that giving a concentration of 200 ml/liter of cow biourine fertilizer gave the best results for the number of leaves 28 days after planting (11.58 leaves). Meanwhile, giving a dose of 2 g/plant of urea fertilizer gave the best results for plant height parameters of 28 DAT (32.08 cm), and number of leaves 28 DAP (11.38 leaves). There was no interaction between cow biourine fertilizer and urea fertilizer treatment on all observed parameters.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi pupuk biourine sapi dan pupuk urea terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kp. Warakas, Desa Kebonratu, Kecamatan Lebak Wangi, Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten, dari bulan Agustus-Oktober 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk biourine sapi dan faktor kedua adalah pupuk urea. Faktor pertama dengan 4 taraf yaitu tanpa biourine sapi, 200 ml/liter, 400 ml/liter, dan 600 ml/liter. Faktor kedua dengan 4 taraf yaitu tanpa pupuk urea, 2 g/tanaman, 4 g/tanaman, dan 6 g/tanaman. Terdapat 16 kombinasi perlakuan dengan ulangan sebanyak tiga kali sehingga diperoleh 48 satuan percobaan. Setiap percobaan terdapat dua polybag dimana masing-masing polybag berisi satu tanaman, sehingga total tanaman dalam penelitian sebanyak 96 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi 200 ml/liter pupuk biourine sapi memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah daun 28 HST (11,58 helai). Sedangkan pemberian dosis 2 g/tanaman pupuk urea memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 28 HST (32,08 cm), dan jumlah daun 28 HST (11,38 helai). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan pupuk biourin sapi dan pupuk urea terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.
