Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of mycorrhizal doses and types of planting media on the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). This research used a Randomized Complete Block Design with two factors, the first factor was the provision of mycorrhizal doses consisting of four levels, namely M0 (0 g/polybag), M1 (15 g/polybag), M2 (20 g/polybag) and M3 (25 g/polybag). The second factor is the type of planting media which consists of four levels, namely N0 (soil + cow manure (4:1)), N1 (soil + cow manure + husk fuel (3:1:1)), N2 (soil + cow manure + cocopeat (3:1:1)) and N3 (soil + cow manure + bamboo leaf compost (3:1:1)). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that 48 experimental units were obtained. The administration of a mycorrhizal dose of 20 g/polybag (M2) gave the highest results in the parameters of plant height 2 weeks after transplanting (WAT) (20.38 cm), 4 WAT (34.07 cm) and 5 WAT (43.74 cm), number of leaves 2 WAT (5.67 strands), 5 WAT (18.75 strands), stem diameter 4 WAT (6.33 mm), 5 WAT (7.35 strands) and flowering age (38.42 days). The use of a combination of planting media types of Soil + Cow manure + burnt rice husks (3:1:1) (N1) gave the highest results in plant height parameters 2 WAT (20.28 cm), 3 WAT (27.99 cm), 4 WAT (35.59 cm) and 5 WAT (44.78 cm), number of leaves 3 WAT (9.5 strands) and 4 WAT (15.25 strands), 5 WAT (18.17 strands), stem diameter 4 WAT (6.23 mm) and 5 WAT (7.65 mm), flowering age (37.83 days), fruit length (21.04 cm), fruit diameter (4.02 cm) and fruit weight (879.33 grams). There is an interaction between the administration of mycorrhizal doses of 20 g/polybag and the type of planting media Soil + Cow manure + burnt rice husks (3:1:1) (M2N1) on the parameters of plant height 2 WAT (21.77 cm) and 5 WAT (51.33 cm). Likewise with the parameter of the age of flowering, the combination of M2N1 treatments is also included as one of the highest combinations, namely 38 days, although this M2N1 is not significantly different from the treatments M1N0, M2N0, M0N1, M1N1, M3N1, M1N2, M2N2, M3N2, M2N3 and M3N3.

Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah pemberian dosis mikoriza yang terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu M0 (0 g/polybag), M1 (15 g/polybag), M2 (20 g/polybag) dan M3 (25 g/polybag). Faktor kedua adalah jenis media tanam yang terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu N0 (tanah + pupuk kandang sapi (4:1)), N1 (tanah + pupuk kandang sapi + bakar sekam (3:1:1)), N2 (tanah + pupuk kandang sapi + cocopeat (3:1:1)) dan N3 (tanah + pupuk kandang sapi + kompos daun bambu (3:1:1)). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga diperoleh 48 satuan percobaan. Pemberian dosis mikoriza 20 g/polybag (M2) memberikan hasil tertinggi pada parameter tinggi tanaman 2 minggu setelah tanam (MST) (20,38 cm), 4 MST (34,07 cm) dan 5 MST (43,74 cm), jumlah daun 2 MST (5,67 helai), 5 MST (18,75 helai), diameter batang 4 MST (6,33 mm), 5 MST (7,35 helai) dan umur berbunga (38,42 hari). Penggunaan kombinasi jenis media tanam Tanah + Pupuk kandang sapi + sekam padi bakar (3:1:1) (N1) memberikan hasil tertinggi pada parameter tinggi tanaman 2 MST (20,28 cm), 3 MST (27,99 cm), 4 MST (35,59 cm) dan 5 MST (44,78 cm), jumlah daun 3 MST (9,5 helai) dan 4 MST (15,25 helai), 5 MST (18,17 helai), diameter batang 4 MST (6,23 mm) dan 5 MST (7,65 mm), umur berbunga (37,83 hari), panjang buah (21,04 cm), diameter buah (4,02 cm) dan berat buah (879,33 gram). Terdapat interaksi antara pemberian dosis mikoriza 20 g/polibag dan jenis media tanam Tanah + Pupuk kandang sapi + sekam padi bakar (3:1:1) (M2N1) terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 2 MST (21,77 cm) dan 5 MST (51,33 cm). Demikian pula pada parameter umur berbunga, kombinasi perlakuan M2N1 juga termasuk sebagai salah satu kombinasi tertinggi, yaitu 38 hari, meskipun M2N1 ini tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan M1N0, M2N0, M0N1, M1N1, M3N1, M1N2, M2N2, M3N2, M2N3, dan M3N3. | |||||||||
