Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer and fast release compound fertilizer concentrations on the growth and yield of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.). The research was conducted experimentally from September to December 2024. The experimental design used was a split-plot design with the concentration of fast release compound fertilizer (G) as the main plot consisting of 4 levels: control (G0), 3 g/l (G1), 5 g/l (G2), and 7 g/l (G3). The subplots consisted of liquid organic fertilizer (P) concentrations at 4 levels: control (P0), 2 ml/l (P1), 3 ml/l (P2), and 4 ml/l (P3). The results showed that liquid organic fertilizer concentration treatments have a significant effect on the growth and yield of cucumber plants across all observed parameters, with the 3 ml/l concentration produced the highest results for plant height (157.57 cm), number of fruits (5.04 fruits), fruit length (19.31 cm), fruit diameter (4.82 cm), and fruit weight per plant (1459.07 g). Meanwhile, the fast release compound fertilizer treatment at 7 g/l produced higher results for all observed parameters, but only significantly affected plant height (161.37 cm), number of leaves (49.5 leaves), days to flowering (24.79 days after planting), and total fruit weight (1433.93 g). There was an interaction between liquid organic fertilizer and fast release compound fertilizer concentrations for the number of leaves parameter, with the best combination of 3 ml/l of liquid organic fertilizer and 7 g/l fast release compound fertilizer, producing 57.50 leaves.

Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah rancangan plot terpisah dengan konsentrasi pupuk majemuk pelepasan cepat (G) sebagai plot utama yang terdiri dari 4 level: kontrol (G0), 3 g/l (G1), 5 g/l (G2), dan 7 g/l (G3). Subplot terdiri dari konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (P) pada 4 level: kontrol (P0), 2 ml/l (P1), 3 ml/l (P2), dan 4 ml/l (P3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun pada semua parameter yang diamati, dengan konsentrasi 3 ml/l menghasilkan hasil tertinggi pada tinggi tanaman (157,57 cm), jumlah buah (5,04 buah), panjang buah (19,31 cm), diameter buah (4,82 cm), dan berat buah per tanaman (1459,07 g). Sementara itu, perlakuan pupuk majemuk pelepasan cepat pada 7 g/l menghasilkan nilai lebih tinggi pada semua parameter yang diamati, tetapi hanya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman (161,37 cm), jumlah daun (49,5 daun), waktu berbunga (24,79 hari setelah tanam), dan total berat buah (1433,93 g). Terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi pupuk organik cair dan pupuk majemuk pelepasan cepat hanya pada parameter jumlah daun, dengan kombinasi terbaik pada 3 ml/l pupuk organik cair dan 7 g/l pupuk majemuk pelepasan cepat, menghasilkan 57,50 daun. | |||||||||
