Abstract
One of the vegetable commodities with the highest economic value is chili. Optimizing the use of chicken manure and coffee grounds can increase chili yields. Plant growth and soil quality can be improved sustainably by using chicken manure and coffee grounds. In this study, chicken manure and coffee grounds were used to increase the development and production of curly red chili plants until the ideal ratio of fertilizer doses and planting media was achieved. In July to October 2024, this survey was conducted on the Lambangsari Permai Housing land, Jl. Semeru II, Block B/48, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency. In this study, three replications and two variables were used in a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). The first factor is the dose of chicken manure fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely without dose of chicken manure fertilizer (control), 367.5 g/polybag, 735 g/polybag, and 1102.5 g/polybag, while the second factor is the dose of coffee grounds consisting of 5 levels, namely without dose of coffee grounds (control), 210.7 g/polybag, 427.525 g/polybag, 639.45 g/polybag and 877.1 g/Polybag. This process was repeated three times to produce 60 plants. ANOVA and posthoc test using D Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level were used in this study. Plant height, number of branches, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight, and fruit length were the characteristics measured in this study. The dose of chicken manure fertilizer has a very different impact on the development of curly red chili plants at the age of 3 Weeks After Transplanting (MST) with 367.5 g/polybag with the best average of 18.33.

| Additional Information: | Salah satu komoditas sayuran dengan nilai ekonomi tertinggi adalah cabai. Optimalisasi penggunaan pupuk kandang ayam dan ampas kopi dapat meningkatkan hasil cabai. Pertumbuhan tanaman dan kualitas tanah dapat ditingkatkan secara berkelanjutan dengan menggunakan pupuk kandang ayam dan ampas kopi. Dalam penelitian ini, pupuk kandang ayam dan ampas kopi digunakan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan dan produksi tanaman cabai merah keriting hingga tercapai rasio dosis pupuk dan media tanam yang ideal. Survei ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli hingga Oktober 2024 di lahan Perumahan Lambangsari Permai, Jl. Semeru II, Blok B/48, Kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan tiga ulangan dan dua variabel. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kandang ayam yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu tanpa dosis pupuk kandang ayam (kontrol), 367,5 g/polybag, 735 g/polybag, dan 1102,5 g/polybag, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah dosis ampas kopi yang terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu tanpa dosis ampas kopi (kontrol), 210,7 g/polybag, 427,525 g/polybag, 639,45 g/polybag dan 877,1 g/Polybag. Proses ini diulang tiga kali untuk menghasilkan 60 tanaman. ANOVA dan uji posthoc menggunakan D Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5% digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat buah, dan panjang buah merupakan karakteristik yang diukur dalam penelitian ini. Dosis pupuk kandang ayam memberikan pengaruh yang sangat berbeda terhadap perkembangan tanaman cabai merah keriting pada umur 3 Minggu Setelah Pindah (MST) yaitu 367,5 g/polybag dengan rata-rata terbaik sebesar 18,33. | |||||||||
