Abstract

Cikuya Tea Plantation is an Agrotourism area located in Cikuya Village, Hegarmanah Village, Cibeber District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. Cikuya Tea Plantation Agrotourism is managed by PT. Harendong Green Farm (HGF). The many similar tourist locations and other alternative tourist attractions, make Cikuya Tea Plantation Agrotourism must be smart in managing strategies in developing its business. Based on the problems described above, this study aims to determine and analyze: (1) What internal and external factors are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the development of Cikuya Tea Plantation agrotourism; and (2). What alternative strategies are carried out for the development of Cikuya Tea Plantation agrotourism. The methods and analysis used in formulating strategies for the development of Cikuya Tea Plantation Agrotourism are divided into several stages, namely: Input stage consisting of the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) Matrix and the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) Matrix. Matching Stage that combines external and internal factors of the company, consisting of SWOT Matrix (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). From the analysis of the company's environment, several strategic factors were obtained which are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for Cikuya Tea Plantation Agrotourism. The results of the study found a number of internal and external factors. From the results of the SWOT analysis, it can be seen in which position the company PT. Harendong Green Farm (HGF) is located, which indicates whether the company is in a good position and what strategies can be carried out to develop the agrotourism. The recommended strategy is made for two program periods, namely short-term programs and long-term programs. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop Cikuya Tea Plantation Agrotourism through the right strategy, both long-term and short-term.

Additional Information: Perkebunan Teh Cikuya merupakan kawasan Agrowisata yang terletak di Kampung Cikuya, Desa Hegarmanah, Kecamatan Cibeber, Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten. Agrowisata Perkebunan Teh Cikuya dikelola oleh PT. Harendong Green Farm (HGF). Banyaknya lokasi wisata sejenis dan objek wisata alternatif lainnya, membuat Agrowisata Perkebunan Teh Cikuya harus pintar mengatur strategi dalam pengembangan usahanya. Berdasarkan masalah-masalah yang diuraikan di atas, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis : (1) Faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal apa saja yang menjadi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dalam pengembangan agrowisata Kebun Teh Cikuya; dan (2). Alternatif strategi apa yang dilakukan untuk pengembangan agrowisata Kebun Teh Cikuya. Metode dan analisis yang digunakan dalam perumusan strategi bagi pengembangan Agrowisata Perkebunan Teh Cikuya dibagi menjadi beberapa tahapan, yaitu: Tahapan masukkan (input stage) yang terdiri dari Matrik EFE (External Factor Evaluation) dan Matrik IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation). Tahap pencocokan (Matching Stage) yang menggabungkan faktor eksternal dan internal perusahaan, yang terdiri dari Matriks SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, dan Threats). Dari analisis pada lingkungan perusahaan diperoleh beberapa faktor strategis yang menjadi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman bagi Agrowisata Perkebunan Teh Cikuya. Hasil penelitian menemukan sejumlah faktor internal dan eksternal. Dari hasil analisis SWOT dapat diketahui pada posisi mana perusahaan PT. Harendong Green Farm (HGF) yang menunjukkan apakah perusahaan sudah berada posisi yang baik dan dapat ditentukan strategi apa yang bisa dilakukan guna pengembangan agrowisata tersebut. Strategi yang dianjurkan dibuat untuk dua waktu program, yaitu program jangka pendek dan program jangka panjang. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu adanya pengembangan Agrowisata Perkebunan Teh Cikuya melalui startegi yang tepat, baik jangka panjang maupun jangka pendek.
