Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of the REACT learning strategy (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) on students' mathematical reflective thinking skills in terms of Self efficacy levels. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The subjects were 11th-grade students at MAN 1 Kota Cilegon in the 2024/2025 academic year, selected through cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class that applied the REACT strategy and the control class that used the Discovery Learning model. The instruments used in this study were essay tests to assess mathematical reflective thinking skills and questionnaires to measure students' Self efficacy. Data analysis was conducted using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that: (1) the REACT strategy was significantly more effective in enhancing students' mathematical reflective thinking skills compared to Discovery Learning; (2) students with high Self efficacy demonstrated better reflective thinking performance than those with moderate and low Self efficacy; and (3) there was no significant interaction between learning modeles and Self efficacy levels on students' mathematical reflective thinking skills.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa ditinjau dari tingkat Self efficacy. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial eksperimental. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Kota Cilegon tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas: kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model REACT dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Discovery Learning. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian untuk menilai kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dan angket untuk mengukur Self efficacy siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji ANOVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model REACT secara signifikan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dibandingkan Discovery Learning; (2) siswa dengan Self efficacy tinggi menunjukkan performa lebih unggul dalam berpikir reflektif dibandingkan siswa dengan Self efficacy sedang dan rendah; serta (3) tidak ditemukan interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan tingkat Self efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. | |||||||||
