Abstract

This study was motivated by preliminary findings indicating that the principles of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) have not been optimally integrated into science subject matter at the junior high school level. As a result, students still lack learning resources that connect biodiversity and climate change materials with the concept of sustainability. In addition, the environmental literacy level of junior high school students remains relatively low. This study aims to measure the validity level of a developed website as a learning resource. The method used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE development model. The instruments used include interviews, observations, and validation sheets. The website development process includes stages of potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, validation, and product revision. The research results show that the website's validity level, through the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) approach as a learning resource in science education, reached 93.01%, falling under the "highly valid" category, making it feasible for use in the next stage.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan pra-penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa prinsip Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) atau pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan belum terintegrasi secara optimal dalam materi pelajaran IPA di tingkat SMP, sehingga siswa masih kekurangan sumber belajar yang mengaitkan materi keanekaragaman hayati dan perubahan iklim dengan konsep keberlanjutan. Selain itu, tingkat literasi lingkungan siswa SMP juga masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat validitas website yang dikembangkan sebagai sumber belajar. Metode yang diterapkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan adalah ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, serta lembar validasi. Proses pengembangan website mencakup tahap analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, perancangan produk, validasi, dan revisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat validitas website melalui pendekatan Educaiton for Sustainble Development (ESD) sebagai sumber belajar pada pembelajaran IPA mencapai 93,01% dengan kategori sangat valid, sehingga layak digunakan pada tahap selanjutnya.
