Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the capital of the Cilegon Mayoral candidates, namely Robinsar-Fajar pair, Helldy-Alawi pair, and Isro-Uyun pair. The Cilegon City Pilkada contest was won by Robinsar-Fajar pair as a group from a political dynasty that was able to defeat the incumbent. Robinsar-Fajar pair had just entered the political arena, and were able to defeat the incumbent and the leader of the Cilegon City DPRD. This study uses the capital theory put forward by Pierre Bourdieu, including social capital, economic capital, and cultural capital. The method in this study is a qualitative method with a multiple case study approach. The results of this study are that Robinsar-Fajar pair excels in social capital by having a large political party coalition and social network battles. In economic capital, Robinsar-Fajar pair excels in money politics carried out amounting to Rp. 100,000. Helldy-Alawi pair excels in cultural capital related to having education and achievements during their time as Mayor, but it is not a factor in winning the Pilkada. Isro-Uyun pair does not have advantages in social capital, economic capital, and cultural capital. Robinsar-Fajar pair won the 2024 Cilegon City Pilkada contest because superior social and economic capital.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali modal kandidat Wali Kota Cilegon yaitu pasangan Robinsar-Fajar, pasangan Helldy-Alawi, dan pasangan Isro-Uyun. Kontestasi Pilkada Kota Cilegon dimenangkan pasangan Robinsar-Fajar sebagai kelompok dari dinasti politik yang mampu mengalahkan incumbent. Pasangan Robinsar-Fajar baru terjun pada ranah politik, mampu mengalahkan incumbent dan pimpinan DPRD Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori modal yang dikemukakan oleh Pierre Bourdieu mencakup modal sosial, modal ekonomi, dan modal budaya. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus tipe majemuk. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa pasangan Robinsar-Fajar unggul pada modal sosial dengan memiliki koalisi partai politik gemuk dan pertarungan jejaring sosial. Pada modal ekonomi, pasangan Robinsarfajar unggul pada money politics yang dilakukan sebesar Rp. 100.000. Pasangan Helldy-Alawi unggul pada modal budaya terkait memiliki pendidikan dan prestasi selama menjadi Wali Kota, tetapi tidak menjadi faktor pada kemenangan Pilkada. Pasangan Isro-Uyun tidak memiliki keunggulan pada modal sosial, modal ekonomi, dan modal budaya. Pasangan Robinsar-Fajar memenangkan kontestasi Pilkada Kota Cilegon tahun 2024 karena memiliki keunggulan modal sosial dan modal ekonomi. | ||||||
