Tatu Munawaroh, 2025, "Development of English Language Teaching Materials Based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (Hots) Integrated Hypertext Model in Senior High Schools in Pandeglang Regency". Dissertation. Doctoral Education Program, Postgraduate Education Study Program, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Promoter Prof. Yayat Ruhiat, M.Sc., Co-promoter Prof. Yudi Juniardi, M.Pd. This research was conducted due to problems that occur in schools such as low English learning, teaching materials used have not yet touched on technology, and declining learning outcomes. The urgency in this research is based on the needs of students and teachers in technology-based learning resources, so research is carried out on the development of teaching materials to have an impact on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to describe the need for English teaching materials based on the integrated hypertext model of Higer Order Thinking Skill (Hots), develop English teaching materials based on the integrated Hypertext model of Higer Order Thinking Skill (Hots), combine English teaching materials based on the integrated Hypertext model of Higer Order Thinking Skill (Hots), and analyze the effectiveness of English teaching materials based on Hypertext-integrated Hots. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes 5 stages: analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and producing. Based on the research objectives, there are four research results. First, to find out the need for English language teaching materials based on high order thinking skills (HOTS) integrated with the hype model in senior high schools in Pandeglang Regency, observations were conducted in three schools (SMAN 4 Pandeglang, SMAN 7 Pandeglang, SMAN 10 Pandeglang). The results showed the need to develop English language teaching materials as a learning medium that facilitates students in learning. Second, the development of English language teaching materials based on higher orderr thinking skillll (HOTS) integrated with the hyperrtext model in Senior High Schools in Pandeglang Regency is carried out using the ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation development model which produces product specifications that are developed in the form of a guidebook related to English language teaching materials based on higer order think skill (Hots) integrated with the Hypertext model and English language materials designed in the form of a learning platform. Third, the suitability of English teaching materials based on high order thinking skill (HOTS) of the integration of the hypertext model in Senior High Schools in Pandeglang Regency was carried out with a product trial by three experts, namely media experts of 96.65%, material experts of 96.87%, and lesson design experts of 96.07%. The total obtained from the qualitative data of teaching material validation was 96.53% which was taken from eight aspects. Fourth, the effectiveness of English language teaching materials berbasis higher orderr thinking skill (HOTS) terintegrasi hypertext model in Regency High Schooln Pandeglang is done by giving rit response questionnaires to users namely students and teachers and tes learning the english language to students with material descriptive text. The results of the questionnaire responses on a limited scale by students amounted to 2001 with an average of 95.29% taken from three aspects of VI assessment, the teacher's response obtained a result of 55 out of a total score of 60 or 91.66%, and the average student learning outcomes pre-test value was 65.66 and the average post-test value was 81.60 with a sample size of thirty-five. Meanwhile, on a broad scale, the students' responses gave a very good response with a total score of 6033 or 95.78% with a total of 105 students, the teacher's response with a total of three respondents obtained a result of 91.67%, and the results of the learning test obtained an average value of 66.70 in the pretest and 84.42 in the posttest, which showed an increase after using teaching materials. Based on research results that have been obtained that higher order thinking skill (HOTS) integrated hypertext model based teaching materials are in accordance with school needs, that higher order thinking skill (HOTS) integrated hypertext moedel based teaching materials are created systematically using a model ADDIE, that the higher order thinking skill (HOTS) integrated hypertext model based teaching materials are in accordance with the assessment of experts, and that the higher order thinking skill (HOTS) integrated hypertext model based teaching materials are effective for use in high school Regency in Pandeglang. The impact of the research can be used to provide motivation to students and teachers and can be a reference in facilitating teachers and students during the learning process at school.

Penelitian ini terjadi atas masalah-masalah yang terjadi di sekolah seperti pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang masih rendah, bahan ajar yang digunakan masih belum menyentuh teknologi, hasil belajar menurun. Urgensi dalam penelitian ini yaitu atas dasar kebutuhan siswa dan guru dalam sumber belajar berbasis teknologi maka dilakukanlah penelitan pegembangkan bahan ajar untuk memberikan dampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kebutuhan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis higer order thinking skill (Hots) terintegrasi model hypertext, mengembangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis higer order thinking skill (Hots) terintegrasi model hypertext, menganalisis kesesuaian bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis higer order thinking skill (Hots) terintegrasi model hypertext, dan menganalisis efektifitas bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis Hots terintegrasi Hypertext. Metode penelitian jenis Reasearch and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi 5 tahap: menganalisis, merancang, mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan dan mengevaluasi. Berdasarkan tujuan penelitian, hasil penelitian ada empat. Pertama untuk mengetahui ke$butuhan bahan ajar Bahasa I$nggri$s be$rbasi$s hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt di$ SMA Kabupate$n Pande$glang dilakukan observasi di tiga sekolah (SMAN 4 Pandeglang, SMAN 7 Pandeglang, SMAN 10 Pandeglang) hasilnya yaitu perlunya pengembangan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris sebagai media pembelajaran yang memfasilitasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Kedua, pengembangan bahan ajar Bahasa I$nggri$s be$rbasi$s hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt di$ SMA Kabupate$n Pande$glang dilakukan dengan model pengembanagan ADDIE Analysi$s, De$si$gn, De$ve$lopme$nt, I$mple$me$ntati$on, dan E$valuati$on yang menghasilkan spesifikasi produk yang di kembangkan yaitu berupa buku panduan terkait bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis higer order thinking skill (Hots) terintegrasi model Hypertext dan materi Bahasa Inggris yang di rancang dalam bentuk learning platform. Ketiga ke$se$suai$n bahan ajar Bahasa I$nggri$s be$rbasi$s hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt di$ SMA Kabupate$n Pande$glang di$lakukan dengan uji$ coba produk ole$h tiga ahli$ yai$tu ahli$ me$di$a sebesar 96.65%, ahli$ mate$ri sebesar 96,87%, dan ahli$ de$sai$n pe$mbe$lajaran sebesar 96,07%. Adapun total yang diperoleh pada data kualitatif validasi bahan ajar sebesar 96,53% yang diambil dari delapan aspek. Keempat efektivitas bahan ajar Bahasa I$nggri$s be$rbasi$s hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt di$ SMA Kabupate$n Pande$glang di$lakukan de$ngan me$mbe$ri$kan angke$t re$spon kepada pengguna yaitu siswa dan guru dan te$s be$lajar Bahasa I$nggri$s kepada siswa dengan mate$ri$ te$ks de$skri$pti$f. Hasil angket respon pada skala terbatas oleh siswa se$be$sar 2001 de$ngan rata-rata 95,29 % yang diambil dari$ tiga aspe$k pe$ni$lai$an, respon guru memperoleh hasil 55 dari$ total skor 60 atau 91,66%, dan hasil belajar siswa rata-rata ni$lai$ pre$te$st yai$tu 65.66 dan rata- IV rata ni$lai$ poste$st yai$tu 81.60 de$ngan jumlah sampe$l ti$ga puluh li$ma. Sementara pada skala luas respon siswa memberikan respon yang sangat baik dengan total skor 6033 atau 95,78% dengan jumlah siswa105, respon guru dengan jumlah tiga responden memperoleh hasil sebesar 91,67%, dan hasil tes belajar memperoleh ni$lai$ rata-rata pada pre$te$st 66.70 dan poste$s se$be$sar 84.42 yang me$nunjukan adanya pe$ni$ngkatan se$te$lah me$nggunakan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar berbasis hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan di sekolah, bahwa bahan ajar berbasis hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt dibuat secara sistematis dengan model ADDIE, bahwa bahan ajar berbasis hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt sudah sesuai dengan penilaian para ahli, dan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis hi$ghe$r orde$r thi$nki$ng ski$ll (HOTS) te$ri$nte$grasi$ mode$l hype$rte$xt efektiv untuk digunakan di$ SMA Kabupate$n Pande$glang. Adapun dampak penelitian bisa dijadikan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa dan guru dan bisa menjadi rujukan dalam memfasilitasi guru dan siswa selama proses belajar di sekolah. | |||||||||
