Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of school principal supervision on teacher performance at public kindergartens (TK Negeri) in the Cipocok Jaya District. The background of this research is based on the crucial role of school principals as academic supervisors in improving teacher performance, particularly in terms of lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research employed a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis. The population consisted of all kindergarten teachers in the Cipocok Jaya District, with a total sampling technique involving 26 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire designed based on indicators of school principal supervision and teacher performance. The results showed that school principal supervision had a significant influence on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.264, indicating that 26.4% of the variance in teacher performance is explained by the supervision of school principals, while the remaining 73.6% is influenced by other factors. Thus, the better the implementation of school supervision, the higher the teacher's performance in carrying out their professional duties. This research suggests that school principals should continuously improve the quality of their supervision through a systematic and sustainable approach to support teacher professional development.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di TK Negeri Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor akademik dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja guru, khususnya dalam hal perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru TK Negeri di Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya, dengan teknik total sampling yang melibatkan 26 orang guru. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket/kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator supervisi kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,264, yang berarti bahwa 26,4% variasi dalam kinerja guru dijelaskan oleh supervisi kepala sekolah, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, semakin baik pelaksanaan supervisi oleh kepala sekolah, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya secara profesional. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar kepala sekolah terus meningkatkan mutu pelaksanaan supervisi melalui pendekatan yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan guna mendukung pengembangan kinerja guru. | |||||||||
